Freaking out when a spider literally does not even a 10th. Im currently in NG+ 2 on WOAH mode, getting all achievements. This is the hardest game ive played. Its dark souls and elden ring combined. At least in those games the basic enemies dont one shot me😪
Yeah on NG+ for both ds and Elden Ring, the games gets easier 😂 at least until +3 or +4 cycle. I think it’s more just the unfamiliarity with the game. I have over 400 hours in ds3 and about 200 in Elden Ring. That’s how I was in ds3 with the trees In The swamp for the first play through. I was a pyromancer too… 😂 and the same thing goes for the revenants and the giant hands in Elden Ring. Not at all that hard, just need to know their animations and what to expect. Like I mentioned on another comment, if you look at the damage it was doing to me, it was next to nothing as I have tier 5 ladybug gear on. I just didn’t know I was that strong during those interactions.l still felt like I was the the wimpy little teenager 😂 Plus I don’t like spiders…. I would say the game is helping with that, but then when I randomly feel something on my skin my body has been freaking out and assuming it’s a spider 😂😂😂
I thought when it shows the spark that it’s a perfect block? Like in the first orb weaver fight in the tunnel I get I believe 2 or 3 sparks, and then again on the infected larva. It’s hard to see because I added a special effect spark for every perfect block I had. Is that right, or no? But I did run like a scardy cat and use my bow a few times. Which is funny because if you watch how much damage the spider does when it hits me, it’s next to nothing. I have tier 5 ladybug gear on so they didn’t do much, but it was more me just not realizing that I could just fight them with ease 😂
New player here, just realized today that animation cancelling with block work with the crossbows. Rate of fire is ridiculous and definitly not realistic lmfao
I had read that it didn’t work, now I can’t wait to log on and try it out. I will write back to you as soon as I test it out. Because if that’s the case that could warrant a video. Cross bow versus insect bow.
So I tested this out and you are 100% right. However, I slowed it down a little and watched some replays, and the initial shot does normal Damage, but any shot with the quick reload actually does significantly less damage. It actually appears to be a perk for the crossbow. The quick shots can still stun just fine, but they do less damage. The perk that causes this is called “rough reload”.
