@@TheImmortalMushroom you absolutely can get a gas mask without them. You'll likely come across a lot of web sacks in the hedge lab. Busting them can yield stinkbug and bombardier parts.
Thanks man I only used Pinch Wacker (which is really effective like 6 hits to get to phase 2) but your advice to 1. Watch where the lasers would spawn and 2. Stay on the wall helped me ALOT
It took me about 15 tried to try and defeat him, yet I could only get him down to 1% health before my armor broke Recommendations 1. Instead of using spears use the spiky sprig cause it does more damage or even better red ant clubs 2. Bring potions cause some of them are easy to get that heals you
@@MrHocotateFreight There is no such thing as blunt damage. It is weak to busting damage. Spiky Sprig does generic damage not busting so the same 50% damage reduction applies. The reason Spiky Sprigs do more damage is because their ruck damage is twice that of the Pebble Spear. Ditto for the Red Ant Club. The Insect Hammer will do slightly less damage but (~8 points at 62-63 damage per throw versus 70 for either the Spiky Sprig or Red Ant Club) but has a very high stun rate at Phase 3 of the Smasher mutation taking only 2 hits to stun the Assistant Manager while slowing its attack rate.
During the laser stage, just stand behind one of the outer pillars, the beams can't get you there. Much easier than hopping and ducking all over the place.
Bro this took me like 7 tries to beat. Those worker bots were pissin me off. I handled that assistant manager. its just those lasers and electro balls floatin around to watch after. Thank you much bro. I finally got his ass back from all those Ls. hahahahaha
Great strategy! For the haze boss, lure her into the entry room, and jump past her to get in the open room. As long as you keep out of melee range, she won't try to 'shoulder check' her way out. Take out the helpers first, then arrows to the face.
Thank you for this video I was so confused because I didn't know his weakness so I was using a bow and arrow definitely will be using spears when I play again because I died 😂
It seems like the controlls are much better on PC than XBox. On XBox I have to bring up a selection wheel, or open inventory to use smoothies or bandages. Is there a quicker way? Plus I see you can strife on PC, doesn't seem possible on XBox.
You definitely have more flexibility and control with a keyboard. Let's see if anyone from the community can add a comment. Is there anyone that plays on Xbox that can add a comment around shortcuts for items such as smoothies?
I actually just figured out that I can remap the controls in the options. They have 2 shortcuts for emojis and chat, I'm playing solo, so I mapped those to grab hotpouch 1 & 2. At least I can put bandages and smoothies in those slots to grab it quickly. Definitely helped me to beat the assistant manager.
I’m gonna have to try this method because my idiot self upgraded my ladybug armor to the point where I need glue to repair it, then I figured out the glue masher comes from the chip you get after this fight. My armor is at like half durability too, I hope I can pull this off.
Now I feel a little over prepared with my level 5 Roly Poly Armor my level 5 black ox hammer and my rusty spear 🤔😂 but in my first 100% on easy mode we struggled a little bit so that’s why 😂 better safe than sorry 👌🏻
@@leburch all you need to do to make the black ox hammer is black ox beetle parts and pupa leather, none of which require globs of any kind, and so you don’t need to kill assistant manager
First time I fought the assistant manager I beat it. It is not as difficult as you think. As long as you keep that block up you'll be ok. All bosses/bugs attacks are a pattern. Follow the pattern to when they attack then start your attack.
If you circle Anti-clockwise you don't have to time the jumps, you simply walk around and let the lasers pass over your head. He's weak against hammers so use a tier 2 hammer. Armour: ladybug- perfect block the ads and you'll get free health. I used 1 bandage and 1 smoothie. Use a shield to deflect energy balls. Towards the end I kept circling right in the middle and shot him with a few arrows. Most important tip: Take your time!
At 1:15 & 1:47 you get a short glimpse. The main one I'm using is Javeliner. The others are extra health and extra stamina. And I also have one that helps me move faster through the backyard, but forgot what it's called, and better exhaustion recovery.
@@how2noob247 ty. me and my friend beat it last night using your strategy but we used the ant club instead because they do a ton of damage if thrown (on woah difficultly)
lol i watched one minute..dang it..wow i died so many times.. clockways huh i'll probably try salt arrows,or spear.. i kept dying in round three with lazers and not taking out the minions thanks.. we made it this far..must continue,...
This is such a easy lab for me I just used ladybug armour and crow crossbow upgraded to level 5 and salt arrows one arrow does so much damage you did be surprised
@@BenBensen293 I don't think you can. I am still working my way through the game and when I went back everything stayed the same. I found this was the only way that worked for me. I am playing on: Whoa!
A pathetic excuse of a “boss” literally just a platformee gimmick boss. Die 100 times look it up and instantly win. Great game with absolutely terrible combat
@@johannez9123 Project harder. I annihilate all the bosses. Never die to assistant manager at all now. The only thing I ever die to is I. Wolf Spider. On Woah
