One of my favorite things about Stobe was his kindness to animals that he met along his travels. Such a down to earth guy. It's always so bittersweet watching his videos.
We were on a 2 month overlanding trip the last couple months, and one night at like 330 am while on some mountain top in northern Utah, I woke up freezing becuase the little heater we use was out of fuel. As I was getting up to get things going again my wife woke up and asked what time it was and my automatic reply was " IT'S THE DARKEST HOURS OF THE NIGHT"..... We were stopping in Alomogordo New Mexico for fuel and the gas station/ convenience store was right near the tracks, a BNSF freight was going by and I said " Hey, right by the tracks, this store has everything, a good place to get beer!" To which my wife immediately replied " annnd CHICKEN. " You live on in all of our hearts, Stobe.
"This bologna has only been expired a couple months, no big deal." "I do own a pickup truck. I'm not completely destitute." "Will this truck start? Kapow!" Stobe wan Kenobi never needed a script. ALWAYS entertaining off the cuff. Sorely missed. RIP

Loving the increased frequency of the vids these days. I think by posting these, you've realised that people are just as much into your top class commentary and demeanour as they are the trains and hopping (added bonus)- keep 'em rolling
thanks for the encouragement, commentary has far more long term potential than being a deadbeat on the train. Its way more feasible to do short, frequen things like this instead of the train ones
This guy here brings us back to the core of who we are I swear especially after recent events in our world that have cramped down and taken away so many of our freedom‘s on the guise of supposed health benefits, but tell me how those health benefits work when you have teenagers committing suicide marriage is breaking up businesses being completely demolished, explain. The logic in that.
This guy's sense of living lean is epic, I loved following your adventures, even if, compared to a Canuck you are kinda lame in the winter; this stuff is normal for us. I could make you a gourmet breakfast in around -20F more than you have there in this vid. My heart bleeds when I think of the horrific way you met your end, far too early for a man still finding his way. Your music and soul carry on.

Come to Quebec, Every store is a beer store! Not so cheap A 40 will cost you like , well what i drink is 10%BlueDry it is like 5 bucks each.. (i usually get 2 10% and 1 8%, it does the job) and if you want just a 6.1 blue dry it will cost you like 7.50 (for a 40) .., They want you to get drunk here! Seriously its cheaper to buy a 10, 8 or 7% beer than a 6.1% like almost a 3 dollar diff!
I have watched this update... well..every time I watched stobe so that would be..I’ve lost count. Certainly high double digits. I think it’s the sheep...could be the eggs. Out.

bruh it aint the type of car/truck or vice versa - I don't think , as in Dodge vs Toyota or which is more practical and reliable in cold weather , to start up / fire up...and get going that most likely comes down to the battery or batteries CC/CCA and the alternator. No real opinion on which is better here but a thought on that , or my input.
@@orangeacresmontanacouchsur2735 um, if its below zero outside and your woodburning stove inside has the temp inside at 75 degrees I promise you it's hot enough to cook on that stove. We cook with ours alot and our temp doesn't get in the below zero..

But I was raised by an old cajun woman who was raised poor and food was everything. NOTHING WAS WASTED. As a kid I couldn't understand how my mother could eat some of the shit she ate.. now I foot the bill I completely understand...
Was just at the brother in law's place for SB51 he said they had captured some hobos in the plant they stayed on a train were detected by camera and got outside the gate but were captured by local authorities. I shared your channel with him and told him he might enjoy your videos. He might tell the law to let them go next time if he gets to see you guys are not out there to cause harm. Sucks to get drug into a plant that can be an issue in that they want every person on that property to have TWIC card.
True that the train stops for the gate to open you got time to bail if you don't you go in there you are violating some law involving TWIC and NAFTA. He said it was 2 people and a dog.
Hippie commune? j/k, I actually know what this place is. Never been, but heard of it before. No alcohol allowed must be the worst part! How long will you stay there? Until it's warm enough to ride again? Or sooner?
