Also if this installation is outside be sure to coax-seal or tape the connections at the ground shunt or water will indeed get inside and corrode the connectors and will get in the coax as well.
yes i made this video for new cb ham opps to show a simple way to make a ground ... yes best is to solder the copper to copper pipe or solder the copper to the uhf connector... as long as it make contact should be ok as a simple solution,,, for NEW OPPERTORES,,
