bruh he met her when he was 21 and she was an infant, he ended up taking care of her when her father died and later married her when she was old enough... bruh wtf😂
@@patrickhayes9215From what I read about his history, his feelings towards her started growing romantic when she was 21.So it was not like he was infatuated with her from beginning. But then I would still consider it inappropriate, cause he was taking care of her since childhood,he should have been a father figure to her
Maria Halpin claimed she had been raped by Grover Cleveland. After a very sad struggle for her, the baby son ended up being adopted by a prominent family, and Maria’s life was forever damaged. If women had been allowed to vote in those presidential elections, I would like to think that he never would have won. My heart goes out to Maria.
This video really ignores that. Maria was put into a mental hospital after because of Grover Cleveland- which did not last long because she was clearly mentally well. While she was there though that’s when they baby was adopted. He practically kidnapped his own child. Not only that but he used his sheriff position he had at the time to intimidate her.
2:30 Yes, Cleveland was the only Pres to be married at the White House, in the physical building. John Tyler had married while Pres but in New York City. Woodrow Wilson would marry while Pres & in Washington DC, but at the bride's home.
I don't get it. Governments ask people to go fight for them and once they ask for pensions, their requests are denied. Why anyone would go risk their life even nowadays for such a Government?!!
but as a person he was trash. he married the girl he was practically the father of. he had known her since her birth and been her legal guardian since she was 11.
@@henkkahenrik4183 Not only that but he stalked the woman who carried his baby. The baby wasn’t conceived consensually. Also he grossly abused his position he held as a Sheriff. ON TOP of that he vetoed a crazy amount of stuff, he got nothing done.
Land the perfect cannonball in the pool, no, on the moon! When finally the USA successfully landed on the moon, after all that time! And even though I’m not an Astronaut, like my fellow citizens who had traveled there, all the way to the moon, I’m still proud to be a citizen of The United States of America, myself!
