When coupling hook lift trailers together with a handy A-Frame, customers can easily move their heat exchanger across and between sites, on-demand. The Stronga Heatex unit shown in this video is thermally efficient air control module which works in tandem with Stronga’s various drying systems to reduce the moisture content of wet materials.
Customers are currently using Heatex, together with Stronga’s horizontal airflow drying containers and high performance FlowDrya systems, for drying biomass, SRF, silage, animal bedding, manure, wood shavings and more.
Heatex is housed in a weatherproof, lockable ISO container which is sub-divided into 3 fully-sealed chambers - a command and control room, a fan and deep core heat exchanger cold chamber, and an insulated warm air end plenum. One key benefit of the warm air end plenum is that air can be directed in multiple directions to suit requirements. Unlike similar heat exchangers which force air in one direction, Heatex can be positioned alongside, behind or even on top of the biomass drying module.
Output ports between the Heatex and the adjacent drying system come fitted with manually-operable dampers, allowing airflow control over each individual port to adapt to different material properties and densities.
Heatex models come fitted with energy-efficient, direct-drive plug fans with market-leading, curved, modern-blade design. The super-silent plug fan configuration is easy to maintain, offering long life reliability with no belt chains or sprockets. With energy efficiency being a key focus of business owners, integrated dual plug fans are the ideal air handling solution, reducing energy consumption, CO² emissions and electricity load.
Control is paramount in Stronga heat exchangers. When coupled with the Stronga FlowDrya, Heatex delivers full control over drying performance via the integrated control HMI. The control panel features manual and automatic settings and visual display of set parameters. It is vitally important that the user is fully informed about biomass drying parameters. The control panel data logs the key parameters to allow the user to make the best decisions for optimal outcomes.
