Hey Pat. Never tried this method. However, I stuck over ripe june plums in a pot (did not separate seeds) and left them and had shoots within a month. Got plants from all.
@@carib909 yes, your right. in that picture they look just like hog plums. I have several hog plums growing from cuttings. Better from cuttings since you'll get fruit very quickly. By the following year. I haven't tried from seed
