Dr. Eugene Chung, MD, FACC, FHFSA, Advanced HF, Director of Outreach and Innovation at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati OH presents "Growing an Advanced Heart Failure Program" as part of the Cardiac Sciences Grand Rounds series in Calgary Alberta on Nov. 7, 2023.
About the Speaker:
1. Originally from South Korea, moved to New England at 11 yo. At Yale, majored in Molecular Biochemistry and Biophysics, and received MD at University of Massachusetts. Internal Medicine residency was at Mt. Sinai in NY, and CV fellowship at University of Massachusetts. Further HF training at Columbia University, NY.
2. Moved to Cincinnati in 2000 to start the HF program in a private practice group, then at Christ Hospital. The physician group employs about 40 cardiologists, 6 cardiac surgeons, 3 vascular surgeons. The HF group has grown to 7 physicians.
3. Married to Kim Miller MD, recently retired College Health physician, and have 2 children. Rho is a Shakespeare scholar in Edinburgh, Scotland, and Benjamin is a Linguist for the First People’s Cultural Council in Vancouver, CA.
