Very happy plants! Great rubberband idea! I just harvested my bok choy and threw more seeds in the ground. Luv how fast they grow! I do the same, stir fry and add to soup, delicious 😋

I had a nice big one in my aero garden and transfered it to my garden tower. I didnt realize that I had brought aphids in the house by bringing a basil plant in for the winter. Both the bokchoy and my collard green plant were covered...I was sad!! But also too digusted at the amt of bugs to try to salvage the plants. Also didnt want any marching over to the other plants!

I am trying Seeds of Change since you recommended that brand. 🤞🏻 I planted 3 seeds per pod. Did you plant more than 1 seed per pod, and if so, did you clip the seedlings after sprouting so only one grew, or did you leave more than 1 plant to grow per pod?

@Lisa Badon I planted multiple seeds per pod and then thin it down to only one plant per pod once they have germinated. I tried growing two in the same pod but I found the plants struggled as they were competing for space and they didn’t grow as large either.

Hi! How often did you change the water on that 4 week journey? Did you do top offs from evaporation?

Hi there thanks for the comment! I didn’t change the water at all, I left the same water in there and only did top ups. Also the AeroGarden let’s you know when the water needs to be filled when the light goes red so it’s really easy!

I have tried growing bok choy several times in my AeroGarden Harvest. I have used the official pods, and also my own seeds. Neither will grow past the sprout stage before withering and dying. Do you have any tips? I used filtered water, 8 ml of plant food like the bottle says, and it’s not hot in my home. My temp is about 65-68 indoors. I have rinsed and refilled too. The roots are small, but they are white (no root rot). Any advice would be appreciated! 🙏🏻

That’s super interesting..It may be your batch of seeds then I’m thinking. Try a different brand or pack as everything else you are doing is right so I can’t think why else the seedlings would be dying like that. I’ve always used my own seeds when growing and I’ve grown Bok choy about 3 times in my AeroGarden successfully with no problems.

@@MindfulLivingA May I ask which brand/type of seeds you use? I have tried two different brands, and also the AeroGarden bok choy seeds. All three had the same result. ☹️

For sure! I’ve used Mr.Fothergills seeds or Seeds of Change for my Bok choy plants

They are gorgeous, but I think that looks like Tatsoi

Hi thanks for the comment! I used my own seeds for this and specifically used Bok choy seeds, however I agree it grew/looks more like Tatsoi does in my opinion too. I wondered if that was because the light is so close to the plant causing it to grow differently. When I used the same Bok choy seeds outside it grew differently and more tall.

@@MindfulLivingA interesting… it could be the light. Could be cross pollination. I have some baby bok Choy seeds and tatsoi too. Waiting to come back from a trip so I can start them. Will report if there’s a difference.
