Maaf mas, videonya sangat menginspirasi, saya baru liat instalasi yang seperti ini..namun kurang dalam hal penyampain informasinya. Berikut saya tambahkan beberapa informasi yang kiranya dapat membantu. 1. Medianya bisa hanya cocopeat atau campuran cocopeat+tanah 2. Larutan yang ditambahkan adalah larutan yang biasa digunakan untuk hidroponik yaitu *AB Mix* (untuk takaran saya tidak begitu perhitungan, tapi biasanya saya menggunakan TDS meter, biasanya untuk 1 minggu pertama campuran air+larutannya sekitar 200-300 ppm, minggu ke2-ke-3 sekitar 600-800 ppm, minggu ke-4 sekitar 1200ppm) 3. DIbawah botolnya menggunakan *spons/rockwool/apa saja yg bisa menyerap nutrisi sekaligus bisa menahan media tanam supaya tidak ikut terotasi dalam nutrisi, bisa juga ditambahkan sobekan kain/flanel* agar penyerapan air nutrisi bisa tersalurkan ke akar tanaman dengan maksimal. Cool build! I was thinking about a similar system and found your video. I plan on building a scaled up version of this for 25 to 30 plants ("herbs"). I will make an enclosure using a bamboo frame and super fine netting to keep pests away. Birds, slugs, rodents and large insects are a problem where I live (NE Thailand) and they will damage seedlings if they get the chance. For pest control I use a mix of diluted nicotine, dish soap and garlic. You only need a few drops of soap per liter, and spraying the plants will ensure that any pests/eggs are eliminated since the soap breaks the water surface tension, causing bugs and eggs to dry up/suffocate. No need for strong chemicals, but my biggest fear is spider mites so we will see about that.
Spider mites won't like that mixture. Just be sure to do it early morning and evening every few days for at least a week, then should only need to do it once a week or fortnight.

Hi there , can u pls share some more details like what's the growing medium ? Did u used NPK 19-19-19 ? How many days it would take for first harvesting. How many times we can harvest from the same plant ? Thanks in Advance.
I categorised a plant based on 3 uses. Fruit, leaf and root. The parts where we consume. Haha. The fruit part is more complicated as it requires pollination I am looking at ways to do that in an enclosed farming. Haha. Care to offer some advice
I was asking because there's capillary action that additionally comes into play. I "cloned" your idea with my liquid nutrient level set about midpoint the growing container height. But still, capillary action pulls that level up even higher to the point it drowns the plant. I just reset to 1/3 the height. Let's see what that does...
Buddy ! technically there are some mistaks in your vedio. You forgot to add a filter membrain between soil & water & also forgot to mention time period of growing stages.
Haters gonna hate. Upload a video of your own if you’re gonna critique. Be sure to spell check too. The beauty of hydroponics is there is a plethora of ways to do it and the end state is harvesting your own hardwork. So “technically” there is nothing wrong with what they did. It worked for them

That build needs a few tweaks but a great idea for the pop bottles. I'm gonna use 2 liter for mine but I was wondering the same that how far up the inside does it go??
At 3:50 you can see the top of the return pipe is maybe 3/4 way to the height of the bottles. As liquid is self levelling, I would guess that is roughly where the liquid would sit in the bottles, but the soil in the bottles would wick the moisture higher I would say. But changing the height of that return pipe would adjust how high up the bottles the liquid would sit/travel I guess?
