Growing Mushrooms: Mixing Colonized Grain Spawn to Bulk Substrate

Yeah you can definitely use less, colonizes super fast and produces a lot more, but I have used only one jar before as well.

I'm not sure what you are asking. You should always make grain jars first so the mycelium has food to use. Once you have the grain jars you can put them all into the tub like this video shows. Once the mycelium has taken over all of the substrate it will start to fruit on its on. I don't have any process of keeping mushrooms out of the fruiting process although I suppose you could keep them in the dark and change humidity maybe. Mushrooms grow so quickly though so I guess the answer to your question is yes.

​@@219PyroI keep my house about 72 to 75 generally. Optimal temp for growing is about 75
