Lovely, so relaxing... thanku for great tips! Never thought to really clean roots with toothbrush. Though, it makes sense and the results are excellent!
If it's green algae on the roots, you can pretty much leave it alone. (I think some plants in water even grow better, perhaps symbiotic? And you'll see little air bubbles and such.) However brown or red algae (which also smells bad) tends to result in a sick plant, and should be dealt with.
Hello Paul 👋 how are you, This green algae on *Spider Plants* is normal when you grow *Plant* in water. If the water of the plant not change regularly, then, it will become rot roots. After then, the plant getting sick. In this video, i showed to avoid this common *Plants* problems. When the plant receive the care they need, they will grow healthy. I actually did this to root cuttings and left them on the window and they grew into full plants, I figured it out by accident…. I guess I’m not the only one.
My water implanted spider plants tip of leaves r looking brownish or dead i cut the brownish part but they start again brownish and extra water are filled in their roots and starts to dieing...so what should i do for my plants healthy growing??? Pllzzz reply

It could possibly be the fluoride in the water. Water with fluoride (regular tap water) can just irritate the plant so I advise filling a glass with water and letting it sit 24 hours to let things evaporate before putting it on your plant. Distilled water is good for plants! Also a little bit of browning is common on spider plants
