Hi I grow squash and when the grow baby squash the get black or brown and the die i don't know why if any body know please

Hi Yasmeen. Your baby squashes dies off because they were not pollinated. If the bees 🐝 don’t pollinate, you will have to, so the baby squash makes it. When the baby squash has the yellow flower open, get another yellow flower that does not have a baby squash on it, and brush it with the flower with the squash. You will have squash to enjoy. Anybody.... what is the benefit of installing the plants in holes on the side of the container rather than just planting them in the top of the container? To me, I would think you would lose soil out those side holes. Is it beneficial to locate them lower in the pot and why?

Side planting keeps the plant from any splashes of soil that can harbor fungus or other diseases.
