Just bought this plant from Logees. So happy you pointed out the edema, I was getting worried about my plant. Thank you, these are such great videos. Found you guys from Jenna Marbles too!
Glad to find this video. I ordered 2 of them from Logee's around 6yrs ago. I'll say they are doing good, but I'd like yours in a strong stem and more leaves. Mine are tall with less leaves and one of them is a little pale.
Mine just arrived today, and it looks great and already has flower buds on it. No I did not hear about this plant from some painfully single youtuber. But I am very excited to grow this forgiving and incredibly fragrant plant
It’s slow and you need to use a strong hormone as well a take multiple cuttings as some take a very long time to root. We root them under intermittent mist with a root temperature of 70, and they root erratically over many months.
If you are seeking plants that are good air purifiers, please see this article written by the owner's at Logee's www.logees.com/cleanair. The Chinese perfume plant can certainly be grown as an indoor plant and prefers a full or partially sunlit window.
@@LogeesPlants What if they are yellow and falling off? I noticed you didn't really cover watering in the video, what do they like as far as that goes? Thanks!!
@@kumateatree I'm no expert but now that I've had mine for a bit I water mine about once a week when the soil is pretty dry. I ordered the one in a 2" but it's in a bigger pot now. It is probably too big (I have now heard we should not repot plants so soon) but it's doing good. Just last week 20 or so leaves opened up from the top and I think I see where it will soon bloom for the first time. As for yellow leaves I haven't had any problems but I hope the @LogeesPlants can help you out.
