A lot of people really don't understand that about Oakland. It is a mixing bowl of so many people. I was there in the 80's, 90's, and so on. I had friends that was really bout that life. Vietnamese, Tongan, Samoan, White, Mexican, Black, Chinese, Filipino, and so on. Im black and I speak with inteligence yet people would tell me I'm not really from Oakland until I take they so called hood ass to the crib and they ready to go home five minutes later lol. Wether or not it's fake or real it's seriously peculiar for someone like me to see a white person speak and talk like she is from the hood.
