Seeds came today ...😍. Thank you! ALL of us need to DRAMATICALLY increase our consumption of greens. Like more than tolerable. My calculation is a shot of this 3X a day. Perhaps with meals.....ooooh and my Chicadees will be squealing with delight too. #BlessedBeThee🦋

I laughed when you said a winter day 70°.That's a hot summer day in England. We get a dozen or so days that hot then the rest are in the 60s but winter is usually mild at least where we live. I just sub'd this week after finding your water filter video. There's some great info you put on here and your style and presentation is some of the best on RU-vid. I'm wishing I'd watched your thistle video before I pulled the ones from my orchard. I guess there'll be more next year and the fields are full of them except they are full of sheep as well and the grass gets regular nitram so they won't be as good as the orchard. Glad I found your vlogs and looking forward to more.

I germinate most of my plumeria seeds that way but to add to her germination tray construction, use a hot soldering iron to do the drain holes. Saves time. Plus the longer you hold the hot soldering iron in the plastic tray, the bigger the hole will melt to.

I let some soak for way to long many days how many like 7 even though i rinsed it I got busy w other things actually today I saw about 5 dime size mold spots which i removed with a spoon so it put some the good stuff in a blender ironically it hadn't sprouted so i blended it and it turned into oatmeal I tried 4 very small bites I I didn't like the way any of that batch smelled so i threw that whole batch out, so I guess as you said it rotted and fermented actually here in Albuquerque it grows in the sun well the the starter grass will freeze, it dropped well below freezing the past few nights. November 3 now, mine seems to take a lot longer to grow for some reason, i got way to far ahead of myself and was not able to give the proper attention of time i don't have every thing i need yet the set-up yet...... I paid 40.$ for 50# but i have had 1 super good batch and shared with others, and i felt better

Hey there. I wanted to ask you if you had a chance to track and compare egg production on poultry using the fodder sprouts and comparing it with the normal stuff? A lot of videos are out there with sprouts and they are wonderful. I recently started feeding my ducks sunflower sprouts. It helped to get this idea seeing your video and others. But I haven't been doing it too long. And one of the things I'd been wondering is if I need to sometimes mix in other things every now and then to be safe? And also, I wondered about comparing egg production of either ducks or chickens with each other with one group on normal food and one group on either wheatgrass sprouts or sunflower seed (black oil) sprouts? Hope you can get back to me. Thanks.

Although I know that people claimed to grow things, if you think about it, it is obvious that we people do not grow anything at all. We simply put seeds that our Dear God Created and Only God Made them grow if God Wanted. Please say that you are tending wheatgrass, to be grateful to God and to be accurate. Do you eat these Animals?
@RonRay
@RonRay 8 лет назад
I know this has nothing to do with the process you're showing here, but... Do you have any reservations about eating your rabbits? (Does it bother you at all?)
@SurvivalHT
@SurvivalHT 8 лет назад
Yes it does. It's always hard to butcher an animal that you've raised, looked after, and loved. And we love all our animals. But at the same time at least we know these animals lived a good, happy, and cared for life and died painlessly and without fear. Where as if I buy meat from the store just to save myself the discomfort of putting them down then I am (for my own ease) causing misery to the animal that i bought from the grocer. Because we all know that those poor animals that end up in the grocery store lived horrible lives. Tortured their whole lives, miserable, frightened, unloved, horribly mistreated, terrible deaths. I don't wanna support that industry anymore then I have to and contribute to those poor animals living condition. So I would rather myself be made uncomfortable for a few moments and butch an animal that I made sure had a good life, then to make the animal uncomfortable it's whole life so that I can have it easy at its death. If I opted for grocery meat just to avoid having to butcher that's what I would be doing. Some people don't have a choice in that but I do so I choose to make sure the animals I eat lived well and died happy. Even if it harder on me
@RonRay
@RonRay 8 лет назад
Survival HT Thank you. This is probably the best explanation concerning butchering your own stock as I've ever heard (and I'm 67 years old).

Great video, and I couldn't agree more with you about commercial farms, and how they treat animals. I've said this before, but I grew up on a dairy farm in northern Wisconsin, and all our animals, cows, rabbits, chickens, dogs and cats, were all treated and taken care of very well, and never went without food, water and vet care. Like you, I hated the butching part, but it had to be done and was done quickly and pain free. I remember when I was a young boy, my father saying that you can always judge the character of a person and in large part a country, by how they take care of and provide for those who can not possibly do so for themselves. He said look at how a person or country takes care of their elderly, their children and orphans, and their animals, and you will have a good idea about their character. Sadly, this country has lost its moral compass in just about everyway possible, and some places, like Kalifornia just leave you shaking your head. Its no wonder why God has withheld the rain and snow from there, with the twisted evilness that has grown beyond belief. Anyway, keep up the great work.
@runningcat63
@runningcat63 8 лет назад
Good explanation. That is basically the same explanation I give for hunting, and eating wild game instead of grocery store meat. If given a chance, would someone prefer to live life free and maybe be harvested as humanely as possible, or live the horrible life with certain inhumane treatment and death. Hunters are not cruel. Most respect animals much more than the deluded public that doesn't want to know about the process before selecting the package at the store. Thanks for the good examples your channel supplies.
