i miss when the dreamsmp wasn't considered 'cringe' to talk about, or like. i remember being so happy finding something that i could unabashedly love in public. now i cant talk about it without getting weird looks ):

Okay, but imagine being a citizen of L'manburg though; everyday, you live in fear of being caught in the middle of the wars while also being thankful for the soldiers that protect you and your home. Then watching as your war heroes, who are CHILDREN, turn against each other one by and one; then eventually dying during the last destruction of L'manburg.

i hate being deep but lmao. playlists like this give me a remorseful but accepting feeling, especially the beginning, because it's like this whole country was started on the basis that it could be free and nothing could get in the way. then the election came, the whole new presidency, or more... dictatorship, with schlatt, then the war, the butcher army going after technoblade, and it all comes crashing when wilbur pushes that exact button, everything up in flames and finishing what he wanted when phil pushes the sword in at the control room; his symphony. sometimes, minecraft subgenres make me realize that you can invest into them, realize their meaning, and reflect on those meanings. for me, it's about simpler times. simple times when you can just be there and have nothing to worry about, because in the end, there's more to bite than you can chew, and it'll come at that exact moment where you'd least expect it. so yeah, i guess the message of this comment is: enjoy life as you can right now. or, if you want this life, keep reaching for it and don't give up.

This playlist just gives me goosebumps. In like a good way. And MAN I haven’t felt like this since like the last major lore event. If I can’t have lore, this playlist is the next best thing

god damn i’ve been here a while. i remember watching the first few lore streams with my boyfriend. we would theorize everything as stuff would play out and it was so nice. i miss that era. with no judgement. just a bunch of fun with a fun community. it’s sad to see it go and slowly fade into the rest of the internet. but i think it’s better this way. a learning opportunity if you will. i might have spent half of quarantine in a mental hospital, but at least i got daily updates on this fun little community from my beloved
