GRS Bifrost Rifle Stock -For Lefthanded Tikka 

Bought a GRS Bifrost and a LRHS for my Tikka too. Great combination. Thanks for the great info on your videos 👍👌☺️

My 308 Winchester rifle is a Howa 1500 I bought the GRS Berserk for it and I love it so much, I went back and bought the Bifrost. When my Bifrost is delivered I will put it on my 308 Howa 1500 and move my Berserk to my 223 Howa 1500. These stocks are the absolute best I have ever held. Both of these are for target shooting and occasional pest control (coyotes and such) I do my deer stalking with an AR10. An AR10 is not needed for deer stalking but where I live we have large bears in the best deer hunting areas.

This stock has some great features. One is the shaped hand grip area. Called a palm swell in the USA. This one has a palm swell for your left hand. If only it could have a small adjustable shelf to brace your hand on the bottom of the grip area. Something like the floor plate on the grip of the H&K PSG-1 rifle. Then the bottom hook shape of the shoulder area of the butt of the stock. An area that you put your right hand to keep a solid pressure of the rifle to your shoulder. I agree that sling attachment on the face of butt stock is not in a good location. Best to put QD style sling on the sides. Another great thing is the rifle action is pillar bedded not putty bedded. Less maintenance with pillar bedding. Accuracy International rifles are pillar bedded. I'm trying to learn some German language vocabulary. What is a translation for "hand hook", "palm swell" "length of pull" in German? Could you also tell me a better translation of QD, or Quick Detachable sling attachments. That Google translator is not very good.

Can't understand why GRS don't build this stock in left grip /right inlet /bolt for us right handed left eye dominant shooters I'm certain it would be a winner .ps great video

Markus, It is nice to see you doing video again, The tikka rifles are well made and fine examples of quality workmanship, the GRS stock is a big plus enhancing its Shoot ability for Hunting, Sport shooting or fine accuracy work for custom hand crafted ammunition and I would find no reason why not to purchases one. the rear sling swivel should have been thought out a little better as you pointed out, however, the advantage of having the rest of the features outweigh the inconvenience. other than having the short action of the .308, I believe I would be only interested in the 30-06 variant. the ability of using slower powders to boost maximum velocity would be the goal in a bolt action instead of an autoloader where Medium burn rates need to be used. anyway, Good review my friend and good to see you again. -David

Is the stock color in video (muted, olive green) same as in real life? Some online photos and videos have it a different, very vibrant, rich green. Just wondering. Thanks
