The sheen on it really is a preference, i think as it is, is STUNNING. my favourite crown stock was forest green so i feel like this is gods way in telling me what my next fall out with the wife has to be
Hi I’ve been buying an as new used FX crown mk2 in .177 forest green and after seeing this I will be getting a GRS stock I’m curious would you happen to know the std settings for the regulator gauge and fill guage in sub 12 if not I’m sure I’ll find the setting on a forum somewhere.
Not a lot really, I did weigh them and there was about a 100g difference between them, I cant for the life of me remember which was heavier but it was so little difference I elected not to mention it in the video. Thanks for watching.
If you plan to polish that gsr-stock can you make a short video of it? I have also that same stock now and I´m curious how the polishing/oiling will affect the laminate colours (will they get deeper tone etc..)
You could if you want, but I normally just get the trigger where I want it then leave it, the holes would be useful once then not used, but it would be nice for FX to do it from the factory. Thanks for watching 👍
Trigger guard is really poor on the GRS, thinking about taking sandpaper or a dremel to mine to open it up abit, finger rides awful on the on the stock by the safety when pulling the trigger
Yeah the GRS stock is a little funny, I really liked mine at first but the more i used it the less I liked it. It looks like a fantastic stock but something is a little off about it and I am not quite sure what it is, I ended up selling mine. Thanks for watching
For such a nice stock its a bit of a let down, although to be fair you never see it and it doesn't effect the way the rifle works, but I was a little dissapointed when I saw it. Thanks for watching.
Like the GRS, but wil not buy one. I do not understand that they copied the FX stock at the ‘ lip’ under the bottle. If GRS made that lip 12 cm longer and a bit thicker , say 10 mm,they had a real winner.
Yep, fits straight on, the GRS stock has a couple different fitxings but the way it attaches to the MK1 block is the same as a normal crown stock. Thanks for watching.
