Big Blizzard music team fan fact Glenn Stafford who has written the music for all Warcraft (except Orcs& Humans) and StarCraft games (and also HotS and other retro games as well) just left the company a few months ago in July iirc (perhaps June) after 31 years of crafting masterpieces His part in my playlists is most significant I guess. Legend is an insufficient word to describe his art. He is someone above for my own perception of music

I love how they made Aldaris right about Kerrigan in Brood War knowing that the players will assume he is wrong as he was wrong so many times prior. Great storytelling.

51:19 Because Reforged was outsorced a lot. It also had no budget, nor time. That's the worst part. SC came out great and D2 was also great, even if it also wasn't in-house and handled by Vicarious Visions (which are good with remasters overall), they just were so focused on changing stuff to appeal to the WoW crowd who's never playen and RTS Warcraft before. Didn't change anything in SC, cause then it wouldn't sell in South Korea and they've learned their lesson about changing things for D2 and now it really hurts they'll never go back to re-do Reforged. 8:39:27 It is discussed, think even fairly soon. They're like, "Yo, why don't you take the armor off on the ship?" and Tychus says it's the condition of his parole.

I replay SC1+BW campaign on SC2 (the mod) and is was so smooth! Goliath and Dragoon have good pathfinding and the smart cast really help old me relive my childhood memories

You should try UEDAIP campaign for a real challenge. They remade all the missions from sc&bw from blizzard to be more challenging!

A lot was said here but I want to give an answer to the misdesign statement in SC2, which I agree on. I think terrans got the best of it but the sound design could be better; I know how disappointed I was when I first heard the gun sounds of marines. Sound overall was very weak compared to SC1, Music had some bangers but overall not remotely as unique. I think Protoss wasn't actually TOO badly designed but zealots especially just felt weak and more like space ninjas than a real warrior caste. Templars and higher tech vehicles are allowed to feel aristocratic but I always loved the idea that this noble and highly advanced race has a dark and >ZEALOUS< side that comes out in hand to hand combat. The Tal'darim are kinda cool here but they are more like slaves and slave masters, not really getting to much in this "noble rage" thematic. And Zerg were kinda cool in the Terran campaign but also just too silent and not scary enough. The original zergling and hydralisk faces (zergling faces in the cinematics) are just transporting the absolute cold hearted killer so well and in SC2 they are just looking too dry; Hydralisks should spew and spit saliva and drool. The slender, boney killer vibe is just more fun than the muscular brute vibe they got in SC2.

why everyone think - scouts good antiground? its antiair!!!! in sc1 they have huge dps to big targets(but not mutas), and always used as anti-capitalships
