These are the reason why you guys aren't in any video game design or balance team. These useless buffs aren't enough. Upon casting Death Coil, the player will instantly win the game by default and the opponent will instantly disconnect.
That is on a good path..however death coil should instantly exile the enemy player out of his country and have him transported into inland Somalia. And yes people who already are in inland Somalia won't be affected...after all everything needs counters and counterplay.
The 3:00 advice is awesome. I just came to that realization in the last year. Just like talking to someone or watching TV, you can learn a lot about yourself and others from videos games... After all someone had to make the characters, dialogue, and music. Character's emotions are the developer's
I don't get angry so much as amuse myself at my team mates or enemies expense, if I really get upset I lost a game of what have you then I go play something else, make some food or find out where they live and follow them home one night... Nothing too extreme, it's just a game....
If a debuff says miss chance increased by 33% that means every attack has 33% chance to miss. No matter how many attacks you do, each attack will never have more, or less than 33% miss chance. Yes, statistically if you run thousands of attacks, it should be close to 33%, but it there's no carryover miss chance compounding interest going on. That's the gamblers' fallacy. If you get super bad luck, your enemy will miss almost no attacks, but if you get good luck, they may miss them all. 33% miss rate can absolutely mean 100 attacks miss 90% of the time. They just got really unlucky.
According to Grubby in another video, Blizzard did actually put in some kind of random number generator carryover for things like Critical Strike and Bash to reduce the chance of a bunch of Critical Strikes or Bashes in a row and the chance of a bunch of Critical Strike or Bash failures in a row, but I don't know whether they applied this to the miss chance of Curse.
@@ravenous3424 I have played both. It is so familiar that when my friends told me about it I immediately rushed to unlock revenant and went right back to counting shots
@matthewshuck5190 lmfao, I more mean there are still some distinct changes but yeah they have most predecessor heroes, but also some new stuff Which is why you can fair enough call it a successor
One of my favourite ever games was me against human (as undead) and mass rifles. I thought fk it, and went mass banshee and took all his rifles it was awesome lol; rifle damage is so op along with coil nova 😂😂😂
I was thinkin about, since im a very bad player in wc3, maybe i should just use mass banshees and steal as much enemy units as i can and hope the best.
Games have taught me that I am a lopsided person. I focus on my strengths and lwave my weaknesses to fester. In lifting terms: I can seated row 140kg for reps easy peasy. I can bench press BARELY 60kg for 4 grinding reps that leaves me catching my breath and shaking from exertion for 10 minutes.
it always makes me sad when grubby says he isn't happy when he plays undead. like sure its not your main race but its kinda sad that he isn't happy when he plays undead
While it's obviously important to work on yourself, especially handling adversity in games, I think it's also important to recognize that many games take advantage of frustration. That's going to be less true with wc3 1v1, but I personally found Magic Arena to be a misery engine as f2p (even when I was going infinite in limited) and I'm sure in team oriented games like dota 2 lopsided matchmaking can be triggering. I think it's going to be more and more clear how much gambling psychology and frustration mechanics are being leveraged by games, so be patient with yourself and try not to take things out on other players.
When are we going to get a Warcraft 3 Unit Possession/Charm tier-list? I think the various combinations of non-undead units interacting with undead units would change their rating from the other race tier lists that were already made, also creeps would also be cool to see which are best to possess for abilities like bloodlust, nets, auras, etc.
In chess world i find that players that feel mad after lose are more talented and more motivated to improve. Magnus Carslen is always angry after lose, same Hikaru Nakamura and lots of diferent players. Carlsen pee himself when he was a kid after lose. I playing lots of tournament irl and see same thing. When u are mad because of your bad play then u are better.
Here's an idea, don't know if you ever tried this. Play as undead against non-undead enemy, possess an enemy's worker with Banshee as soon as possible, and then sell all of your Undead buildings and start building new base and army with your peasant/peon/wisp.
If you find you are not collecting enough Gold, try to drop to a lower level of Upkeep or gain control of additional Gold Mines to counter the reduced income
