Idk bro, the overall more colourful feeling of the original does it for me... I had such high hopes when I heard about reforged, but upon watching it, it is very tragic, gritty and apocalyptic, and even though such a setting fits the Warcraft lore very well, I much prefer the dazzling colours of the original. :/

u think the tornadoes look awful. i agree with you, that it should be way mor "violent". the tornado itself looks ok, but the speed makes it look like a carouself for 3 year olds. just completely out of place.

No it wasn't, but players were impatient after the first delay. Oh well it still is decent and would rather them patch some optimizations.

Cuz there must be compatibility with old graphics. Its hard to make good one animation which looks well for different models (old and new). Ofc it will look weird. Its the price of this compatibility with old graphics

Depends on race and it’s mostly important during the different techs. Like example humans rely heavily on their tier 2 spellcasters if u start sniping priests or sorcs they won’t survive in a battle longer. You’ll learn the priorities through just learning the matchups but a good rule is DO NOT focus heroes early in games you very rarely will see a hero kill in the first 5 minutes of a skilled war3 game and back in 2003 when this game started a good way to recognize a newbie was they would nonstop go kamikaze for your heroes. And while ur chasing ur other units are getting hit. As a beginner focus more in battles on keeping your own units alive. Don’t fight unless you expect to come out with a net gain. And make sure to constantly use lesser units to scout knowing what to anticipate is essential in this game. Hope this helps I had 1500 wins as a random player and as a nerd Teenager I prolly played this game 3 hours a day. It takes a loooooooong time to become above average in this game and since the fact that when this game relaunches a lot of ex pros like grubby will he curb stomping new players it might get frustrating so use watching replays to up your knowledge. Sorry for the essay but I just wanted to give this basic advice because no one was around to give it to me on launch day 2003 lol have fun. This game is deep enjoy it

Hotkeys, select your army/structure/character then assign a key - press ctrl+1 or ctrl+2 or ctrl+3 and etc.

If you don't know this, you wil be crushed online, sadly..

Very annoying, and a great example of why apm is a very limited metric to assess performance. You would think a high level player would be more efficient instead clicking the same waypoint 20 times in a row.

I haven't played Reforged, but my guess is control groups. If you select a unit/building and press CTRL - (0-9) you'll be able to select those units by just pressing that number. Back in StarCraft 2, doing so created those little cards in the lower middle.
