Very Good Topic about Gruha Jyoti Scheme my bill shows 209 units as average consumption that i have used for year 2022-2023 I CONSUMED ONLY 168 UNITS PER MONTH FOR PAST 2 MONTHS. Sir ನಾವು ಮೊದಲು ಬೇರೆ ಬಾಡಿಗೆ ಮನೇಲಿ ಇದ್ದೆವು.ಈಗ ಬೇರೆ ಬಾಡಿಗೆ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಈಗ ನಾವು ಬಾಡಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿರುವ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇವಲ 2 ಮಂದಿ ಇದ್ದರು,ಹಾಗೂ ಅವ್ರ ಮನೇಲಿ ಯಾವ electronic ವಸ್ತುಗಳು ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅವ್ರು ಮನೆ ಖಾಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ನಂತರ ನಾವು ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಆದ್ರೆ ನಮಗೆ ಈ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದ ನಂತರ current bill ಜಾಸ್ತಿ ಬರ್ತಾ ಇದೆ ಹಳೆ ಮನೇಲಿ 0 bill ಬರ್ತಿತ್ತು ಈಗ ನಾವು ಏನು ಮಾಡ್ಬೇಕು.

Sir kindly enlight the following my case My house having electric meter since 1993 and for repair and construction purpose I have taken commercial meter from 18 months and every month remitted Rs 1200/ monthly as minimum against use of 15 units from commercial meter and the minimum charges of Rs 350/ per month for using of 3 units in my regular house of which is under repair. Now I have given rent that house in the month of June 23. Our CHESCOM now taken eligible unit is 9 and adding ten percent the free units comes to 11 units per month. Our CM and Govt says we have giving 53 units free for rented houses where the previous year average is nil or poor like long vacated houses. Please clarify the above case and find any eligibility of minimum 53 units per month free available as per Govt/News paper notification..

We consumers got fooled with this scheme that's all. My flat was vacant for 7 months in 2022, still when calculating the average they have considered 0 consumption for these 7 months. So, the average has come very low 37 units , compared to my actual average consumption of around 110 units. They need to be taught basics of computing average when data is not available for a time period. At the end, given the increased bescom rates since June, I'm ending up paying the same amount which I was paying before June. No benefit as such, very disappointing!
