@@johanm7574 you do realize the context of the video, layne dropped out of the tour due to his addiction, and thy promised they would play, so yea the joke may have been in poor taste by it’s also laynes fault for them not playing, layne was a junkie plain and simple, not a bad guy but a junkie and junkies don’t always behave the best, james had every right to be mad, also that was 28 years ago, kinda lame that you are still holding a grudge against a band that is close with alice in chains, especially jerry, grow up
@@johanm7574 bro do you know the context behind the joke? they were supposed to open for metallica but layne was on heroin again and couldn’t play, so metallica was angry at him, layne wasn’t a bad guy at all but he was a junkie, and junkies aren’t known to be reliable all the time, also that was nearly 30 years ago and both bands are friends, and jerry is a huge fan of metallica and james loves alice in chains, get over it already
@@gditeorcrish464 @Johan M lmao you fans won’t let shit go that happen almost 30 years ago even tho both bands have put their differences aside and are now friends
Hey Statton,I really dig this riff you are playing! It sounds like you have chorus effect on it.I play guitar, and i sing dark heavy originals! Distorted guitar with chorus added to it usually.
Thank you! Yeah I did have a chorus effect on both the clean and distorted sections. Love how it adds an otherworldliness to clean tones and a grimy sludgy sound to distorted tones.
@@stattonalvarado I thought that sounded like chorus.I love chorus!i enjoy your playing.it is somewhat like alice in chains, maybe.i think i will watch more of your videos.keep up the good riffs!peace
Hot Head Distortion from Digitech for the more metal part. Also a chorus and reverb plugin but I added those after recording in Logic Pro X. Thank you!
@@hopkings28 well, There are many differences between chorus pedals, if you compare a small clone with a super chorus you will notice many differences, they never sound the same, even if you compare the small clone with the neo clone which is basically the same pedal you will notice differences
@@hopkings28 I completely disagree, the pedals have different circuits, it is practically impossible to make them sound the same, for example the small clone has a more oscillating chorus which can become a bit uncontrollable and even annoying, the boss chorus pedals, have a more controllable sound, warmer too, there are many differences between the pedals.
@@tarantulabebe1078 I don't mean, that the pedals sound the same cuz it would be so stupid to do different pedals and it sounds exactly like others. I mean, they sound pretty similar cuz give the same effect, got it?
Thanks bro appreciate it. The only real pedal I used was Digitech Hot Head distortion for the metal part. But I also used effects from Logic Pro X like chorus, delay, and reverb.
I used DigiTech Hot Head Distortion for the metal part. I also used chorus, delay, and reverb from the built in effects of logic pro x throughout the whole vid
