Leela: Look! The disgusting little men are starting to sing! Grunka Lunkas: (Singing) Grunka Lunka dunkety doo. We've got a friendly warning for you. Grunka Lunka dunkety dasis. The secret of Slurm's on a need-to-know basis. Asking questions in school is a great way to learn. If you try that stuff here you might get your legs broke. We once found a dead guy face down in the Slurm. It could easily happen again to you, folks. So keep your head down and keep your mouth shut. Grunka Lunka Lunka dunkety dutt! Glurmo: Hey! I don't pay you to sing! You just used up today's bathroom break! Grunka Lunka: Hardass Glurmo: I heard that! Grunka Lunka: (Gasps and walks off) Leela: Hey, what's behind that door? Glurmo: Nothing Leela: Is it the secret ingredient? Grunka Lunkas: (Singing) Grunka Lunka dunkety din-gredient. You should not ask about the secret ingredient! Bender: OK, OK, we get the point! Leela: I was just curious because of the armed guards. Grunka Lunkas: (Singing) Grunka Lunka dunkety darmedguards... Bender: SHUT THE HELL UP!
Even if this commits the cardinal sin of being a screen recording, I can't help but appreciate how "grunka lunka dunkety d'armed guards" is my favorite line from all of futurama
You know just thinking about that, I took a tour of the Miller Brewery in Milwaukee and they started the tour off by giving us some Miller Lite while we sat in a theater and learned about Frederick Miller. And then halfway through the tour they gave us some High Life after we took to biggest workout of walking up 4 stories worth of stairs(which if there was a part of the tour where you may lose people like in the book/movie this episode parodies, that was the part). Damn the Slurm company messed up big time lol.
@@paullangland6877 Lucky, when I went there they didn't give out samples until the end! I wanted to go this year but it looks like they temporarily closed because of COVID, hopefully they open up soon

In my head canon Oompa Loompa's are outcasts of Grunka Lunka's who were kicked off the planet and had to survive in the wilderness of Earth before being found by Willy Wonka.
Gotta admire the Grunka Lunkas for their efforts at turning down any or every attempt at trying to learn about the secret ingredient of Slurm, even if it involves singing a disagreeable song over and over again just to annoy the people on tour. I love how the second song is a step up from the first song, which shows that they're losing patience with that someone who keeps asking about the secret ingredient.
I’m sorry, but I got to say weak, unfunny parody of the Oompa Loompa song. Family Guy did it much better in the episode where Peter and Brian visit a brewery.
Sheeeesh 🙄😒, i like Seth McFarlane an all but this reference is even more dead and equally as dull as Family guy's reference to the 1960's willy wonka & chocolate factory 🏭.
Futurama < Family Guy And to be fair, Family Guy used to be good/better for one liners. Futurama was superior for overall story arc before it all became about Fry and Leela. I'm not hearing a no!
@@richiec.1111 I disagree. Family Guy is boring and predictable because they use the same joke template again and again, just like that time when something mildly funny happened to me that is relevant to the comment I just made.
