I love the idea...BUT....What is protecting the guitar on the TOP...I get the shell in the back..but is it SOFT on the top?...or is there a hard layer between the guitar and the clothing compartment area...???

Hello Michael! The divider between the instrument and the luggage chamber is a corrugated plastic board and a section of Open-cell foam that is over the knobs of the guitar 💪🏼 Designed sturdy enough to checkin during flights!

Hi guys, what is placed in between of the instrument and "luggage" chamber? What exactly divides those two parts? It's possible that strings will push on the frets it seems.Also, will you do any durability tests? Like to put the real guitar inside and drop it in different ways. Without any cuts. A real live video.

The divider between the instrument and the luggage chamber consists of a PE board / EPE foam and a section of Open-cell foam that is over the knobs of the guitar. Once we have a pre-production unit ready we will perform these impact and durability tests and we’re happy to share them here 💪🏼💪🏼

Hmmm. It's definitely up there in cost, it's about half the price of my current guitar... BUT.. it can also double as a travel bag luggage without a guitar .. hmm 🤔

The Kapsule acoustic fits my ES-355 and almost fits my J200 (you gotta wiggle it in), so I'm sure it would fit your ES-175

The one i saw had storage inside and above the fretboard and body, the divider didn't seem sturdy enough to keep the fretboard safe.

We definitely recommend using additional padding if you’re carrying additional gear. We have to strike a good balance between amount of padding and overall weight for the case to make it as universal as possible. Bottomline, just pack every piece of gear well and we will make the best lightweight, travel-ready hybrid bag as possible!
