Congrats on your computer science offer Leah - even tho you aren’t accepting it and Good luck with your next application to med, I’m excited to keep following your journey 🤩 also re: grad med funding - you can get your fees paid for years 2-4 of grad medicine and 60% of fees in year 1 - it’s only if you do undergraduate as a grad that you would really have to pay all the fees yourself, obvs you’re not planning on doing grad med but just didn’t want you to be put off that idea completely! 😘Xx
Really cool to see you are considering computer science. A lot of people didn't have computer science teachers for GCSE or A level, seems like the country is very short on them. You can definitely learn a lot of things at home, I basically taught myself A level computer science because the teachers were o bad. My centre was really unorganised but at the same time, it was a very easy experience felt like a free A*.
You paid thousands for those shitty teachers to do u dirty?? Get your money back sis!! If u did bank transfer you can let your them know you got scammed.
Hey Leah, just wanted to say best of luck with getting into medical school and everything else! Couldn't help but relate as I want to do both medicine and computer science so decided to go to uni for med while teaching myself computer science too.
Wait can I get this straight please? You’re resitting your A2’s and if it doesn’t go well you’re taking a gap year ? Ngl graduate medicine is tough mainly because of the financing. Honestly I regret not taking another year out and fighting hard to get into undergraduate med. But that’s your choice so best of luck 🥳
Hi it’s been quite a tough year and I hope you will be able to rise the system put against us , I want to resit some of my GCSEs and I have seen your videos on your experience I would like to know if you have any insight or advice for November hope you’ve had a good day so far 🌏⭐️😊 !!
Loved the vid!! I also am interested in computer science but lack the discipline to self teach lmao😂 Luckily I got my place confirmed this morning for med at Aston so the contingency plan can wait haha
Another note, really sorry about your experience with the exam centre you used, us private candidates have had it harder than ever and your exam centre should’ve aided you in your plans! I recommend tutors and exams for next year, they’re the ones I used and honestly they’re amazing
