Definitely don’t call it terrible twos. I called it the terrific twos. They are so amazing at that age. The more you focus on the “bad” behavior they pick up on that and realize that it gets them attention. That’s why it gets worse. I think you are going to be a great mom. Continue to stay positive and it’s ok to keep your relationship private.

I work in early childhood education. Children model behavior that they see. If they feel a lot of love from their mother. They “model”/copy that behavior. Children are beautiful and are a blessing. I disagree. There are plenty of people that financially, emotionally and physically prepare for kids. No, kids are not textbook because we all know nothing is perfect. You can be prepared for when you’re ready to raise a child. You can create generational wealth, you can take care of personal trauma, drama. You can be physically healthy and strong. There’s so many things you can prepare for when wanting children.

Wow, we’re literally going through the same thoughts. I feel like I’m in my career and thriving, starting to thinking about owning my own home but really want a condo too, started being open to the idea of having my own kids where before I was like absolutely NOT even though my bf was ready and now I’m 6 months preggo with my son 🙏🏾💙🩵 praying I can be the best mommy ever to him.
