I don’t think it’s quick to leave it’s noticing that your needs are being, coming to terms with it and acting accordingly unapologetically. It may seem that way but perceptions is not always reality. You said EVERY SINGLE THING I've been feeling regarding my relationship; it was my first "real" relationship & I realized I did not like him. I liked his personality, and what he could become, but that wasn't his vision. to make it even worse, I wasn't even attracted to him so when he would piss me off he was just so ugly to me. he made me angry & I've NEVER been an angry person, I'm a cryer, I'm an isolater, never have I had angry outbursts like I did with him. I don't think it's quick to leave. I just think it's knowing your standards, and not tolerating anything less. I'm glad you pointed out the communication part. My previous relationship he wanted me to not say anything or expressing my feelings either. I've always hated it because there was never a chance to express how I feel. The biggest trauma is not being heard.

I left my baby dad because he's an alcoholic and I was in a domestic abused relationship. It wasn't easy to leave because we have 2 babies together...I always gived him chances in hope he would change but he never did. At the end I started to realize the only reason I stayed with him was because of our kids. But I refuse for my sons to grow up in a toxic household and seeing their mother being disrespected and unhappy...So I left him for good! I feel free now as a single mother ❤️

Wow... I was procrastinating for monthssssss... I was not happy and we have a child together. The list of issues is a mile long but I felt so guilty for feeling the way I did, I felt like a bad person. I no longer felt the love or wanted the physical part of it, found myself depressed most of the time. I finally left last week! and I feel so free and light. Thank you for your transparency

The biggest deal breaker for me is if I'm in a relationship with a man and we had discussion about having kids in the future where I don't want them in the future and he don't want them in the future either, then few years later, he changed his mind, but I didn't and he want them with me anyway, I would leave because it's a waste of his time and it's a waste of my time. When it comes to having children, two people should want them and be ready for the responsibility for them because if one of them don't want them right now or at all, but ended up having them for whatever reason and they become unhappy, the child is going to be affected by it because they can sense whether they're wanted or not. It is VERY important to have these conversation with our partners about this serious topic before having them.

Such a real topic! Learning to know when to leave is so vital. I chose myself for the first time and left a relationship that I always wanted simply because I wanted to keep my family together but it just wasn’t working and leaving was the hardest but the best decision I made for myself. I’m glad you reminded me that moving back with family is only a period in time because sometimes when you’re discouraged, you be forgetting lol

Love this! I think it’s a good thing to go through a process, especially when it’s not abusive.
