I’m 67 and the Aquaphor hack really works like nothing I’ve tried before. It’s not like petroleum jelly, it’s a solid.

@@monicapatton1405 I don’t put foundation under my eyes to keep the layers at a minimum. I swipe the aquaphor back and forth under my eyes then put a peach corrector/concealer there to cover the blue I have there, I pat it in with a brush and then with my finger. I let it set while I do my brows and then come back and put fine powder over it. I use the Haus Labs light peach corrector/concealer, I don’t use a corrector and a concealer like the young ladies do because the more you put under the eyes the more they’ll crease and I just apply towards the corners of my under eye to cover the blue. I don’t have a lot of creases under my eyes, more of a crepeyness, maybe that’s the difference. I hope this helps.

The Aquaphor under-eye "trick" really DOES work! I'm 57, with normal skin, but I have dry skin under my eyes. This REALLY helped my concealer to stay put and not gather in the fine lines. Granted, I don't have that many fine lines under my eyes, but the dry skin always seems to make my concealer look kind of cakey after awhile. This DID NOT happen with the Aquaphor. I was shocked, in a good way😊 PS. I used the Kosas Revealer Concealer, but I imagine it would work with pretty much any concealer.

Mineral Sunscreen (Drugstore) Recommendation: Australian Gold Tinted Mineral Sunscreen “SPF50”… I’ve used for years, based on Angie’s (Hot&Flashy) recommendation! It works beautifully all alone on no-makeup days, and mattifies skin (I’m oily/combo @ age 39; or around that age… stopped county after 21st b-day, lol!). I’ve heard good things about that Skin 1004 formula as well but, I’ll wait for your approval to try myself!! I’m so disappointed that I missed todays live, sorry!! You & Mitch are so sweet, and I’d love to join the chat!! Sending you both much love from the East Coast (MD)!🥰

Don't be afraid to mix shades together. I am pale olive ( 3rg gen Italian) and mix mine myself i grab a few shades light dark medium and mix them to get a match, I have also been known to mix a tiny dab of green color corrector in.

Hi Nikki from Holland. Just watched your video. I have used vaseline under my eyes ever so light my whole life. It gives the concealer a beautiful luminosity and keeps the skin soft. I get asked all the time what my secret is. I am now 70 and no lines. BTW your makeup looks gorgeous

A great mineral sunscreen to try is the Australian Gold SPF 50 Tinted Face Mineral Lotion. It comes in three shades: fair, medium, deep. It glides on like silk, but is not oily. Give it a couple minutes to dry down and then it stays put all day under makeup, and doesn't pill. It is marketed as a BB Cream and it really feels ike one. Also, it is fragrence free for my sensative skin and only costs $16.99 for 3 oz. I've been using it for years and can't live without it.

They don't actually sell Australian Gold in Australia, which makes me think it doesn't meet Australian standards as far as uva|uvb skin protection is concerned.

YES on an all-olive video (I'm light warm olive). I forgot to mention the Maybelline Lasting Fix Translucent Setting Powder (I have it in Banana). I'm 55 with crepey eyes. It is a great d/s loose powder option. I join the other women who are older who haven't had lower blephs or filler under the eyes. ;) I have tried every concealer/corrector and they all make the lines more prominent. Would love a concealer video for older eyes (and general eye makeup products for crepey, older eyes). I saw the Risa Does Makeup video on the Aquaphor tip. That lip balm has a lot of wax unlike regular Aquaphor. Believe it or not, I've done this for years (used a waxy balm under the eyes). It helps a bit with appearance, but doesn't keep makeup in place despite lots of powder (in my experience). It's counter-productive. I use it by itself and don't add concealer. Ha. Thanks to you and Mitch. Looking forward to the brushes being back in stock. Have a blessed week. 🙏

I sometimes apply a thin layer of aquaphor under my eyes. Doesn’t have to be the aquaphor lip balm…that’s for the lips. But aquaphor healing ointment, notice not a lip balm, works wonders. I’m 25 and it’s amazing even though I don’t yet have “aging” eyes.

Yes please do an all olive video. Would love that! Also for anyone doing tretinoin and it’s a little harsh, ask your dermatologist about arazlo. My skin tolerates it so much better and I get lots of compliments on my skin.

I agree, not sure if Aquaphor wud have longevity in humidity and heat but I do know for a fact for a woman who has been struggling lately with fine lines and wrinkles under my eyes I discovered those silicone based primers that don't work for my tzone area bcuz I am oily works like a dream under my eyes. I also have to go light with setting powder but the primer fills in my wrinkles really well and lasts for hrs

For a great mineral sunscreen… vanicream one! I found it on a whim! I was in Las Vegas last year for my wedding and I forgot my sunscreen and I like to use sensitive things and I was so happy that I found this! I have been using it for a year now

Btw, if you do the Aquaphor trick - it is the Aquaphor lip balm that goes on undereyes. He said the regular Aquaphor on neck and Aquaphor lip balm under the eyes.

For the person who needed help With tretinoin get cica plast balm it is so helpful in getting through the pilling I would use it 30 min before applying tretinoin it's the only thing that slowly helped me adjust to it and like Nikki said to go slow!

Highly recommend the mineral spf from Suntegrity. It’s also a makeup primer so it wears really well under makeup and makes the skin feel incredibly smooth. I used it for my wedding and my MUA noted how great it was to use.

I'm 81 and my derm just ordered it with a small AMT 2x a week. I have to make sure my skin is very well hydrated to keep the sensitive skin from burning or itching.

Seong's recommendation for mineral sunscreen is spot on. I've used that sunscreen since last year and it's fabulous! It's at least as much skincare as sunscreen and sooths and eliminates redness in my cheeks. I also love the new Paula's Choice mineral sunscreen/moisturizer/primer and the HaruHaru mineral sunscreen (grey tube). For tinted mineral sunscreen, Australian Gold is fabulous with it's BB cream sunscreen. On no-makeup days, it perfectly smooths out my oily skin and dries to a matte finish. It's beautiful, but it may be too drying for dry skin.

I love the Tatcha Pore Perfecting sunscreen . It’s only 35 spf but it has been my holy grail for the last 4 years. It wears amazing alone and under makeup. I have combo, mostly on the oily side and acne prone skin and it has never caused any breakouts. I haven’t tried out their new spf 50 sunscreen just because I love this one so much

I'm obsessed with all long videos and personally prefer them because I like to lay in bed or even watch them when I'm getting ready and I often take notes. Tip from an esthetician 😊 When incorporating Tretinoin in your skincare regimen, do start with once a week (Mondays lets say), but when you are ready to add another day, make it two days in a row (Monday +Tuesday), not a few days apart. This way, your skin goes through the exfoliation cycle smoothly with less irritation. When adding another day, again use it 3 days in a row (M,T +Wednesday)🫶 And so on ❤

Re:tretinoin… have you tried altreno or arazlo? They’re tretinoin in specific vehicles that provide more hydration and actually are shown to help with the retinization process. Another tip is short contact therapy!

I have really dry skin with some fine lines and texture. I bought the huda beauty setting powder because they just launched a fragrance free version and it’s worked great for me! I have to use a very small amount because it can definitely make me look a little flat if I use too much but using a small powder brush and working it into my palm first has been a game changer

I too have an olive undertone and very hard to match foundation. I recently purchased the Fenty SoftLit Naturally Luminous Hydrating longwear foundation in 225 neutral olive which I am very happy with. May be a good choice for one of the products in an all olive video…if you do one. Love you guys and enjoy your very helpful videos.

Nikki, try the Suncream brand ULTRA VIOLETTE it’s an Australian Brand. I use the ‘Queen Screan”. It’s great under makeup. They do both sunscreen type & specialise in SPF under makeup xx

Oh man - so busy with my Non Profit and the end of 4th grade and 1st grade with the kiddos. We are gearing up for our end of the year presentation and I unfortunately missed the live. Shoot! I CANNOT WAIT for your mirrors. So looking forward to that. I was so inspired by all the videos coming out of the creator house that I was wondering if you would ever create "baskets" of top products for fair, light, light/medium, medium and deep skin tones. So many of the creators were inspired by you at Sephora, maybe there are some other things we are all missing out on. Anyway, I thought that would be fun to present us with the baskets then we can buy online. Maybe Sephora will partner with you on that.
