I think it’s too thick/moussy so I apply cetaphil liquid that goes super light on the skin but leaves a little white cast first and then put this one on. This really helps
So there's no quick way to use this product? Apply moisturizer, then wait 30 minutes before applying the AG tinted base. Then wait again to put on the CeraVe?
@@MyCleverHandle it’s not treaty bad. I usually use my moisturizer and apply it about 30 minutes later but sometimes I don’t wait but maybe 5 minutes. I don’t put moisturizer on though over the sunscreen. Sometimes if I need a little added coverage I might use some foundation or bb cream but typically I don’t need to. At end of day it’s hard to get off so I double cleanse. First with an oil based cleanser and then just something gentle. I follow with Cerave cream for moisturizer after the double cleanse. I hope that makes sense. It’s a great sunscreen but does stick like glue. It doesn’t come off easy
I have been using for 2 weeks. It has a good coverage. But I find it kind of sticky/gluey. It's hard to apply my IT foundation over it. It's also hard to apply just setting powder over it. At the end of the day it feels greasy like thick paste. I normally have smooth normal to combo skin but this caused my skin to feel gross within hours. I made the mistake of falling asleep with it on a few nights and I got pimples on my cheeks. I never breakout. I have fallen asleep several times without washing my IT cosmetic CC cream off. I never break out. My skin actually looks and feels better. Probably bcz of the beneficial ingredients in IT. I may only use Australian gold sunscreen on occasion but be sure to really clean it off when sun goes down. I live in AZ and really need the 50 SPF. I will continue to look for another tinted sunscreen that will not clog my pores.
I’m sorry this didn’t work for you. But yes this product is very thick and for me it dries matte so it’s not super sticky for me. But as I stated in this video, I LOVE THIS sunscreen because it dries super fast most mineral sunscreens don’t dry down fast, so this works for me because I work outside and sometimes I start to get sweaty so this is still to this day is my holy grail, I love it, but with that said on a typical day if I’m not working and I want to use this sunscreen I won’t use this sunscreen alone since it’s super drying, I’ll apply my layers of this sunscreen and then once it’s dry I’ll put on some moisturizer or another moisturizing sunscreen on top. :) Try using the Albolene makeup cleanser to take it completely all the way off :) I hope you find another sunscreen that will work for you.
It kinda does, it’s extremely dry. It leaves behind a thick mask of sunscreen. I usually only use this sunscreen for my job since it dries super fast and that’s what I need since I work outside.
i feel like mineral sunscreens always get bashed but it's about finding one that works for you and figuring out how to apply it properly. this one looked so good on you!! i'm definitely going to try it out!!
I LOVE this product, none of the colors are a super good match for me so it does look weird the first 20 ish minutes, but after that my skin just looks normal and usually really good! But I ALWAYS use a good moisturizer before I use this.
Unfortunately, I feel like that’s just the nature of the sunscreen, I would go ahead and definitely wait till all your serums are dry before you apply the sunscreen, it’s good practice overall, to not mix serums with sunscreens, you might ruin the efficacy of the product.
@@chailattee Try, for sure, could be something simple like here, when you are commenting a cosmetic, your voice is realy nice and calm! Hello from Czech Republic 😊❤
No I don’t wear foundation or powders, I actually find this product to be extremely good coverage! :) It is drying so I would reapply another layer of moisturizer on top once it dries. You can always add a thin layer of foundation on top for that glow look :)
I don’t like mixing it with other sunscreens/ moisturizers because I don’t know if it might alter the original formula. I apply moisturizer beforehand, once the sunscreen has settled I will apply more moisturizer or a different spf that is more moisturizing. But I love this product.
@@chailattee hi i would like to ask if the finish is powdery or its very visible that you put something on your face? I just want to use a tinted sunscreen but i dont want my face to look that i have foundation stuff on it coz my recent tinted sunscreen makes me feel that i wear makeup lol.
I wouldn’t recommend this product then. Go ahead and check out the R&R sun serum spf 50, I’m not sure if it’s in stock but it’s a great spf and it leaves no cast, it blends into the skin wonderfully. Hope this helps.
Hi! Imo this product is very drying lol so yes, but it’s like a clay mask lol I like using this sunscreen during the summer because it dries down super fast compared to other sunscreens :) hope this helps.
@@chailattee yes I’ve since tried it about to send it back it was very drying on me and I have very oily skin! My skin felt like a alligator back lol seriously It suck all the oils that I had on my face before applying I looked dead it wasn’t for me but it looked really nice on you thanks for sharing 🙋🏽♀️
@@chailattee I don’t have thick beard like other guys. So I can’t leave area without beard exposed skipping sunscreen. I found a hybrid sunscreen which don’t have Avobenzone, Oxybenzone, Octocrylene, Homosalate, Octisalate and Octinoxate so I m going for that. Let’s see if I buy this sometime later
