1. What would be the coupon ticket value for instance, if one invested two hundred and fifty thousand kwacha, to three hundred thousand kwacha on non competitive bonds for a period of 5 years to 10 years given the indicated face values? 2. What would be the tax income rate on both indicated non competitive bonds? Could you please kindly comment on the stated questions above.
This Video has helped me understand Bonds. Thank you very Much. On a lighter note, what happened to the nails on your right hand? Lol.. Thank you for the Video.
Thanks for this information madam, i really enjoy your videos.. Is it true that now boz has declared that coupon rate will now be at approx 14% for yhe rest of the 2024?
@@MukonkiMukonkela .Hi madam, I got it from the internet while searching for date for bonds the third quarter . But someone clarified that already for.thanks for replying.. can I just ask if there's going to be a zoom link for the workshop you will holding at Radisson blue next month?.. would like to join in
Morning Mukonkela...I bought a 10 year bond at primary market in 2023 and expected to receive coupon after 6 months, however to my surprise I received a coupon just after 4 months...could there be a mistake..???? Somewhere...!!!
@@MukonkiMukonkela okay thank you, so as long as the money I want to invest is in my bank account I just go ahead and place the bid I want right? Cheers madam
Your money sits with you bank first. When your bid is successful, on settlement date money moves from your bank to BOZ, then BOZ credits your CDS acçount.
Everytime I invest I use the new portal I am charged K250 by Atlas Mara. Is that normal? and is every one experiencing this with their receptive banks?
@@MukonkiMukonkela Following a follow-up I was informed that everytime I use the portal to invest that it is a standard charge. I was actually encouraged by Atlas Mara to invest higher amounts to factor their charge too. I have since decided when I have the chance to close my account with them and pause investing for now till I link another account.
@MukonkiMukonkela , thank you do much for your very informative videos. For a self-employed person, could GRZ bonds be a better alternative to NAPSA contributions? NAPSA say they pay back principle + wage inflation + interest. How could that compare with GRZ payout of principal + coupon interest? Would be interesting if you did a video of such a side-by-side comparison 😊
