TGC2019 is definitely pretty, but there's so much more room to grow for GSPro. Who knows what that game will look like in a years time. Loving the videos
I agree, and I believe that GSPro are currently working on a new interface as well which will hopefully make it look even better 😍 Thank for the comment pal 👍🏼
Couple of things. First, if you check out pebble using ultra graphics as you linked in the comment, GSPro looks totally different and much more realistic than TGC. Second, if you compare what you are looking at in TGC vs GSPro you’ll see TGC limits the textures and grasses. GSPro has much more depth. I think people are conditioned to thing a game made to be a computer only game looks real but compared to actually playing these courses, GSPro looks more like the real thing. Yes my opinion but I own or have owned every major sim over the last few years. And anyone saying TGC has better physics….again, I can’t understand that. It’s good but TGC always had differences vs my launch monitor that I could never reconcile. I don’t get that with GSPro (or creative golf).
Ye its a weird one - I agree that GSPro does look more 'real' but the computer game graphics do look really good! It is like 'conditioning' like you say i guess!
I really like the idea of course design as "open source". The problem comes when amateurs and beginners try to design the world-class golf courses in GS PRO and they do not really have control over both large and small details. Pebble Beach should be made better and 1000 times more detailed if GS PRO. There should be tear tracks in bunkers and grass edges are not as sharp as on many of the courses in GS PRO. Unfortunately there is still a long way to go :-)
I honestly do like the details that GSPRO seems to offer with this course as compared to TGC2019 but truth be told if you ignore the details, the graphic seem to be more realistic on TGC2019.
I do feel the same, the graphics are very different on GSPro compared to TGC and I think it depends what you like/want from your sim software. There are some courses on GSPro that look amazing and extremely realistic, yet there are some that just don't look as good as TGC 2019.
I've have both tgc and gspro , I feel like tgc has better graphics overall but more importantly better ball physics / interaction with the ground . At this time. Maybe after a year or so gspro can catch up.
I feel GSpro will eventually be better. Just feel so many people want to discount how good tgc ball physics are , the first bounce thing is there but only when you blade the crap out of it . Even look at this video and look how the ball bounces/ rolls . High spin Wedge approach shots tgc bounce twice , on the second bounce check up , after it lands start spinning back . Gspro ball bounces once rolls forward then stops and rolls back. But just to be clear I am playing more gspro then tgc right now . Really rooting for gspro.
@@fastt21 If you are average golfer or worse, TGC is terrible in terms of ball physics. The first bounce is crazy bad.....and all shots slice way more than they should. None of the other software packages out there (Awesome Golf, GSPro, CreativeGolf3D, E6) have these issues. Worst part of all, TGC cannot actually fix any of them because they dont own the source code.
Gaming laptop is coming in this week so I have to make a software decision soon. You recommended GS Pro on another video but here you like TGC better... which one overall do you think is the best choice/value?! Would love others thoughts as well, if anyone else wants to weigh in!
Value for money I would go with GSPro - the courses and everything about it are always getting better and the constant updates just provide better value 👍🏼
I'll throw in my 2 cents. TGC2019 is expensive. Especially as a one time purchase. It is what I have and I don't have GSPRO. Having said that, in real life I play a handful of courses each year and seem to alternate between these courses. I can hop on TGC2019 and play three of these courses as well as another local private course that is 4 miles from my house (and will be hosting a LIV tournament later this year). Having said that, if GSPRO offered these local courses I would be jumping all over it. But... I enjoy TGC2019 because of the number and variety of courses as well as being able to play the local courses. I had a course built for me in TGC2019. Just a short 9 hole course that was a few miles from my house which the park district decided to close two years ago. The gentleman who built it for me said he would need to charge double to build the same course in GSPRO. So if you have a favorite course that you would like a designer to build, it could be very costly in GSPRO.
Local courses are a really enticing feature of TGC definitely. With GSPro being newer I think given time then there will be more local courses on there too as the course database grows almost every day. I'm not sure about the costing course designers charge personally but that would be interesting to know why you were quoted so much more for GSPro. Maybe it's something to do with the software GSPro uses, i believe that there are much less limitations to the GSPro course designer software and course designers can be as creative as they want to be with it.
I have both. The graphics and ball physics are better on TGC and I have a powerful gaming computer. The one thing I hate with gspro is the red grid lines that don't go away while putting. Makes it look cheap.
GSPRO 550 complete.... theres nothing to compare. Everyone got, are getting and they will keep getting GSPRO 100% not unless tgc2019 go on price some 400 for garmin, or they wont have any sales.
