OM-G! That one's just like mine! I've had my SG-41G for almost three years now and it continues to blossom. I became enamoured with Bouchers the year prior when I attended the workshop you held at The Twelfth Fret in Toronto. JP, thanks for turning me on to Robin's magic. It is an absolute joy to play.

Dantoob, I have had my SG 41 for one year. It is the finest instrument that I have ever owned. I have even drooled playing it. The sound is clear and pure and it is a treat for me every time that I pick it up. We are fortunate boys Dantoob!!!

First time I tried a Boucher guitar I was literally blown a-w-a-y. There was 4 different models at my local store. All 4 were MAGIC. Yep, magic. I’ve played lots of good to outstanding guitars but never 4 new ones in a row from the same builder that were literally magic.

Older video, what a beautiful guitar 🎸 they sound amazing, Boucher build some of the best guitars on the market, I ordered a Boucher SG-42 in November 2022, one of best guitars I've ever played, my favorite of all my Guitars, gotta thank JP for introducing me to Boucher Guitars!

You mentioned in one of your videos that Robin Boucher is also an excellent guitarist. I see that he signs ever one of his instruments, and I’m guessing that he plays them all himself before the go out. I’m guessing that one of his “secrets” for making an incredible guitar is his ear. I have a feeling that his ear is exceptional, and that is why he is always improving. Once again, great review. I’m sure everyone wants one!

Hey JP, I think it should be mentioned that Bouchers have indeed gone up in price. Not that they aren’t worth it, as I now own 2. But they have gone up approximately 20% since I bought my first one in December 2022. Honestly, they should be asking more because they are 💯 worth more. Incredible instruments. My latest from them is quite special, a BG-151 ❤

A beaut. It's a 4A top though, not a Master grade 5A top. Doesn't seem to matter, sounds amazing! I have a Boucher SG 51 MVI. Never thought I'd own an OM until I played it and couldn't believe the sound and versatility. You can play anything on these OMs and it works. I think this might become their flagship guitar. It just has everything going for it.

Having recently bought a Yamaha FGX5 and have had horrendous humidity problems in my house,so much so that I now have a hump on the sound board. I've bought a dehumidifier machine and even though we have a Boucher on review, I keep looking at your humidifier. It's a must have item for acoustic guitars

Wondering about the 41 designation. I’ve got a BG-42-GM which has Brazilian Mahogany, and Koa binding, is the 41 perhaps for the Maple binding? Just curious.

41 designates mahogany (4) and OMH size (1). 42 designates mahogany (4) and dreadnaught (2). Maple binding is the default while koa is included with your mastergrade top option (M).

Hi J.P, I have a question for you Im thinking of getting a good acoustic for fingerstyle.. Which do you recommend more, the Martin ooo15m or yamaha ls 16m...? Want to get into other tunings like DADGAD and things like that ? Please answer.. for I repect your opinion and experience

Lived in the Maritimes until moving to ON and have seen you play live probably 10 times over probably 35 years. If I was thinking about buying a Furch dreadnaught spuce/rosewood (Furch Green DC-SR) would you tell me I'm an idiot and point me to a better guitar? Seeking input but a Boucher is out of my price range.

Grab a good older Norman off marketplace and slam some Elixir Nanoweb 80/20 or phosphor bronze on it and you'll love your life! Who knows.... you could get one that Robin built under Norman's supervision so technically..... you have a Boucher!!!
