Today I welded the O2 bung for the dynojet autotune where my exhaust servo assembly was before.
I also installed the Power Commander V, Dynojet Autotune and my newly acquired Pod-300 that will allow me to do data logging as well as monitor my AFRs real time.

What! That is awesome. I am planning on riding my bike tomorrow, to start getting the trim corrections from the autotune and start building my map. Are you goi g to a dyno or will be running the base map from Dynojet. That map doesn't feel bad.
@kyletodd3068
@kyletodd3068 4 года назад
@@ToModorNottoMod I will be running the base map. However I will probably need to modify the tune a bit once I remove the stock muffler. I am told fuel moto will offer me tunes based on modification upon request! :)

Did you leave the auto tune and pod connected after you dialed it in? Remove the auto tune and pod then use stock o2 sensor? Or just do a o2 sensor delete?

Hey Vincent great question. Once I reflashed the ECU I left everything intact referring to autotune, Pod etcetera. The only change I made was to run 0 (zero) map to avoid the autotune making any corrections. I kept it because I put together a map for nitrous, to have the autotune add fuel at Wide open throttle at the upper range of the revband when I am at the track (I have not tested it) but otherwise everything is installed but not making any corrections. Let me know if that makes sense.

@@ToModorNottoMod ah nice, a zero map makes sense. Did you use a dummy relay for the stock o2 sensor plug? Or when you had ecu flash, you disabled o2 sensor? I'd imagine the second.

I disabled it when I did the reflash.

Hi, if the O2 sensor of the original car is removed, the ECU will report an F1 code error. How did you deal with it? Will an error be reported after the exhaust valve is removed?
@ToModorNottoMod
@ToModorNottoMod 2 года назад
Hey Sunning yes you are correct. You have 2 options 1. You can buy a servo buddy or the Healtech option and that will make the ECU think you still have the servo installed. 2. ECU Reflash - when you reflash the computer the O2 will be disabled and the Servo option can be turned off as well. Let me know if I did not answer your question.

how about the stock o2 sensor? Are you just take it out and plug a eliminator?
@ToModorNottoMod
@ToModorNottoMod 3 года назад
Hey Ivan sorry I did not reply before. That is correct with the AutoTune and Power Commander you don't need them anymore since the fuel is now being corrected my the map in the power commander and the the Power Commander will also rely on the Auto Tune wideband sensor for corrections. You can leave it and unhooke it and plug the harness or you can remove it physically from the bike and ahain plug the harness and plug the hole on the header.

do you regret or recommend this setup?
@ToModorNottoMod
@ToModorNottoMod 6 месяцев назад
It depends. If you are constantly going to be making changes to your bike or you are going to drag race the bike and want to have different maps for different fuels and have access to a dyno yes. If you just want to make to change a few parameters that are available to you by flashing the ECU, I’d say flash the ECU.

Can the pod-300 act like a laptop and adjustments be made with the pod-300
@ToModorNottoMod
@ToModorNottoMod 2 года назад
Hi Morris, the answer is yes but it has a few limitations. For example you can make fuel adjustments but they will be by RPM ranges for example adding 5% fuel to the rpm mid-range will affect fuel in a predetermined area of the rev band. So the options are low/mid/high as opposed to in a computer where you can have fuel changes by ever 250 to 500 rpms.
