Hi Tim. Have one of these, a 2005 k5 in blue and white and luv it. On my number plate I have "GSX1400 more grunt than a pig farm! You will not be disappointed.
I had a brand new GSX1400 K3 (2004) in Blue. The most awesome bike I ever rode in over 30 years of Motorcycling. The downpipes at the front rusted within 6 months, so the chroming was shit and the rocker covers tarnished over time. This bike was awesome. I did 200 miles every day on mine for 3 years using it to get to and from work. This bike doesn't accelerate, it teleports. I had mine up to 165 mph once and although the bike was probably capable of 190, my head was struggling to stay on my shoulders at 165 because of the Wind pressure on the top of my helmet and I'm small at 5' 6" tall!
Nice bike im thinking of getting one,do you still have it and is it really that comfortable? That's what I like about this bike the seat,modern bikes are so uncomfortable. Cheers bro
Hello Danny, yes mate I still have this awesome bike and it's very comfortable. it's one of those bike's that every time you ride it you smile a lot does that make sense? Even though it's 15 odd years old it rides as good as any modern bike. You wouldn't be disappointed if you bought one that's for sure. Stay safe 👍🇦🇺

They're beautiful bikes and I've got myself another one. Don't change to much cos they are supposed to look retro. I like the term "stump puller" very apt.

Currently I own a ZRX1200 I am just waiting for none essential travel ban nonsense in the UK to be lifted and then I am getting one of these. This video has made my mind up 100% to sell Rex
Hello Alex, thanks for watching. I've never ridden the ZRX I've heard good things about them, apparently they have more horse power than the GSX but less torque. I wasn't prepared for how good the GSX is you won't be disappointed. Stay safe mate 👍🇦🇺
Just stumbled across your channel, was excited to have a virtual cruise around my old stomping ground - I recently did a lap through Kallamunda last time I was in Perth picking up my gsxs1000 which is a naked torque tuned racing bike realistically... but after watching this I'm wishing I got a gsx1400! What revs are you sitting at on open road speeds (110)?
Hey Tim it looks like you are having way fun there. Lol, for a closed road that was getting busy. You probably already know but since July the Zigzag has re-opened at certain times. Check with the shire but I think it is now opened between 11.00 am and 8.30pm. You might have to get the cyclists to move over but I'm sure they'll here you coming.

Hi Dylan, look up Rad Guard. Australian company they sell the black version. Check out my a few small mods video I'm pretty sure I get in nice and close on the guard.

@@timfinning I'm in the uk, the weather here often isn't good for bikes, I try not to get mine wet from the rain! I keep it indoors now! Someone tried to steal it from outside my place, fortunately they failed!
@@timfinning I just had a huge chain and lock on the front and another chain on the back, when they couldn't take it, they dropped it, it hit my classic mini and dented the wing, but at least I didn't lose it.
