Couldn't really find many video on what it's like to live with a voodoo so I made on for all you who are looking at this exhaust & what you should expect.
The Speakeasy is used to quiet down the exhaust and to add back pressure. Red Lock-tite is highly recommended during installation. There is actually a video posted about installation.
What Daniel is asking does it need a power commander?, If you knew how loud it really was, would you not have bought it, and bought a other one instead? I like the look and sound but also don't want it to be ridiculous when I drive my bike. Thanks for placing your video
I really want to get this exhaust but I'm afraid I don't know if I'll be able to vlog because currently I have an M4 which is loud enough for me to be able to talk into the mic so do you think I should get this VooDoo Exhaust or you think it's too loud?
i bought the 50 dollar shorty pipe off ebay like the one bakerxderek has thinking i would love it but man i had to take it off i want a loud exhaust but it was so loud that it was annoying to ride the bike when you watch his videos it sounds good and smooth but mine sounded like open headers basically and its the same identical model bike as his and i know his doesnt have a cat they didnt make these bikes with a cat
+patrick 2102 Thanks! Unfortunately your going to have to weld the pipe on if you want to keep the cat...stock gsxr cat has pipe welded to it so you gotta take off both for a new pipe =/ it'll still be very loud but maybe more livable than without cat
Hi new rider here gsxr k7 600, i might have a dumb question. Can't take my cat off cause law here says the bike needs to be inspected every year and says i have to have one at all times. Now i've wanted to get a new exhaust but do i have anything to gain, except it might look better, better sound or power increase?
Trausti Ingvarsson deleting your cat reduces your weight, and improves airflow. any weight you can lose on a bike is good. without your cat your bike gets louder and with the right tune you can get an increase of 6-7 hp. being heard in traffic is also a plus
Trausti Ingvarsson one more thing, idk where you're located our how the inspection stations are in your area, but in my area the inspections station will pass us with an extra fee. my mustang and my bike didn't pass but it was an extra $30. if thats available to you then go for it
Thanks for the info :) I'm living in Iceland and the regulations here are super strict. No way the bike will pass without a cat. Found a muffler which is basically just an open pipe. That might be able to pass.
