Living in a long street and my neighbor that owns a GSXR1000 made me love this bike, everyday when he arrives from work around 5 i hear this high pitched exhaust note coming towards us and in front of our house he downshifts, producing a lovely crackling backfiring sound.... Gorgeous!!
Ritchie V in my country where I live there is this long road , every day bikes come and go from that road I always hear the sound when I'm home always , as soon as it passes midnight this road gets real empty every bike that goes from this road at this time hits the maximum of the 4th gear so lovely to hear !

JDM World can you tell me what type of suzuki gsrx type model ande year is that in photo you use like cover to video. Iike the body work of that bike. It's original from fabric or modified?
Everyone has their opinion, mine is gixxers rule. Best mid range/usable power on a sport bike, cleanest design no need for fender kit and all that, most comfy riding position, the list goes on. Not sure why ppl hate on them
Suzuki had some awesome marketing in the late 90's and early 2000's. Back then if you wanted a sport bike you bought a GSX-R. Suzuki reached outside their normal target market and brought in many "non-bikelife" customers. Suzuki would later regret it when passionless douchebags in masses used these bikes as toys rather than what they were meant for and the GSX-R name was tarnished among real riders. It's a shame; taking a few GSX-Rs apart they are really well put together and intuitive machines designed for fast riders.
Akrapovic has the sound of old Yoshimura's....Nice and throaty. When I was young and didn't give a shit my 1978 Kz1000A (1135 kit, velocity stacks) and 1986 gsxr1100 (1340 kit) had Yoshi's. They sound weak now. I've been out of that lifestyle for decades now but you never stop loving the sound. Keep it going guys...
Vodoo sounds like a monster in person truuuuuuuuuuust!!!! I've compared it to Yoshi exhuasts in person and the vodoo makes those look like a r3 exhaust lmao!!!!
GOT A GSF 650 BANDIT, NOT EVEN A BANDIT S. HAPPIER THAN EVER THOUGHT, BIKE WISE, WOULD NEVER WANT OR NEED ANYTHING ELSE!!! BUT A GSX 1000 R, MUST FOR SURE BE AN ABSOLUTE BEAST OF A BIKE.
I have to agree with somebody else comments. To me the gixxer is the best sounding inline 4 cyl. I even hear the 2017-2020 is fire. However i just can't bring myself to buy one because where i live everybody and their father got one. So i'll stick with my ninjas and r1s. Great video though!
Racefit- sounds awesome but too loud, would get pulled over constantly, also might get annoying on long trips Austin Racing - Meh, not really amazing to be honest, looks odd too Toce - Sounds quite good but kind of tame for a liter bike. Jardine - Not very good, kind of reminds me of that stock 250 sound. Yoshimura - Sounds good, docile at idle, opens up when revving. Voodoo - Sounds good and deep. Taylormade - Deep and good. also looks good. Akrapovic - All over the place, not unique and sounds good but so many have them it became kind of blend.
Interesting vid, comparing different exhausts on the same type of Motorcycle. I guess it depends what each rider likes and prefers. I loved the Racefit at the beginning of the vid. It sounds clear and decisive, like he knows what he wants and he'll kill to get it. Also he's got a nice range of responses from a deeper rumble to the urgent higher pitch and he holds it so steady! Just awesome! Yea, that's the one I want!
@@dominik8788 I have a 09 r6 with radiant motor gp exhaust sound loud, I have also 08 gsxr 1000 with level one racing exhaust which the company no longer in business, this time I'm going to try race fit in my gixxer 1000. As far as the gp exhaust your asking it's pretty a straight pipe if think about it that is why it sounds horrible.
They don't need to make anything, as long as they keep their 600s and 1000s up to date they don't really need a new bike just to compete with the H2. I doubt turbos will be on bikes due to lag, I think keeping them N/A is just fine they're already fast enough lol
