These videos are impressive but I would like to see a much deeper series that takes us through the process of creating an entire bank of patches from scratch as well as editing patches to customize them for specific songs. There’s quite a learning curve to this processor that we’ve invested a small fortune into and it’s important that we understand and are able to make use of it to its fullest extent . That being said the Boss name has been my go to since the early ‘80’s when I first started playing and most of the products I bought still operate the way they did when I got them . They include a BR-1600 multi tracker a PlayBuss headphone amplifier an Me-70 and a dozen different individual pedals that are absolutely bulletproof . So it only made sense that I would bite the bullet and shell out the cash for their flagship product . Now that I have made the purchase I want to be confident that I know my equipment inside and out. I am counting on Boss to go the extra mile to make sure that I do. I would be willing to travel for a hands on learning seminar. A DVD course would be great. Any direction you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks 🙏
Just brought mine home from the store, they let me test drive it, so I don't have to bring my rig to the shop. My first impression is "wow those things are getting smaller and smaller". I turned it on and go through the menus etc. and my first impression is "damn this must be the same computer they use in CERN for the supercollider"... I am getting old guys 😭
depends on the AIRD output setting. I would say pick which ever one works best with that output system. IMHO I would recommend Recording for PA/ FRFR speakers cause you can upload your own cab sims.
It's a pitty that when you go bank up or down, you don't see the names of the patches to choose from like the GE300 from Mooer does. For the rest a beautiful concept especially the AIRD output blocks where you can choose to which amp your are connected to. The control and assign options are great too. Then pedalmode in Version 3 and the bass amplifiers, wow great.! Keep it up Boss, this from a huge fan of Boss & Roland products.
Can you have multiple banks stored from the 1-5 channels on the bottom? Currently, I'm using the the boss katana with the gafc footswitch and have 2 banks with eight channels, can you have multiple banks with the 5 channels at the bottom of this pedal?
