You know your old when you came home from school and watch these when it’s airing or late night when your hungry and enjoying it like it’s the food network.
@@jesseosmond9308 I search for old infomercials and I search for this one every once in awhile. Up until now I've only found the full Xpress Ready Set Go infomercial and low quality pieces of this one.
I ordered a GTExpress 101, and I can say, it was well worth the price !! It still works great, 25 years later. Just like my Crockpot which is 30 years old !!!🤗🥰❤️
In 2001, after the September 11 attacks, Farago became a firefighter. He was part of a Type II federal incident management team deploying to Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005. He currently teaches FEMA/DHS public information officer and incident command courses to first responders and emergency management personnel across the country.
Have several GT Xpress cookers and use them frequently. Have used them since they first came out almost 20 years ago, and still love them. Wish this came with the undivided plate insert as well.
This thing has been sitting in my basement for ages, found it again when I moved. Was a gift from my wife's grandma who has since passed away. Now I know why she got one for us, this commercial almost makes me want to take it out of the box and try it.
Yaaaaaassss. I was truly obsessed with this infomercial and the Ron Popieli DeHydrator! I bought the Express 101 and rarely used it lol. The nails and red hair! 😂
Ps, I'm subscribing because of this, it's my favorite along with the redi set go, the xpress platinum, the nuwave and the turbo cooker, I'm an infomercial junkie 🤣
@Auto Young The GT Xpress 101 was indeed 2x $19.95 (almost $40). That was the version that I saw when I was young. I believe this video is like a newer version of the commercial…
@@johnmarcosrodriguez195 Have you looked at the Xpress Redi Set Go infomercial? They're literally the same device. I only ever remember one version of this infomercial. Where'd you find that info?
@Auto Young … or I think I know what happened. I’m not sure where you from, but I’m assuming you watched this version at your hometown. I’m from Hawai’i, and they propbably aired the “2x $19.95” version. I believe the different versions are played in different areas of the world... 😅
You should check out the xpress platinum, it's the 3rd one after the redi set go, the platinum is the one you want, I had the red one and enjoyed but the platinum is better
@anti-ethniccleansing465 it has a sauce pot and steamer, and it opens all the way flat, there's an infomercial for the platinum on RU-vid and Cathy Mitchell is in it as well
@@aquatadevore9335 Lol! I just got your reply as I’m watching the infomercial for the platinum. :) I haven’t finished watching it yet, but I got a laugh out of the fact that they said they added triple layers of nonstick coating so that it won’t peel/flake off, which was basically them admitting that their earlier version of the machine had crap coating on it haha.
Cathy basically almost always uses pre-made unhealthy stuff and often promotes it as being healthy. Low fat = healthy. They promote it as being healthy, because its not from a fast food restaurant. however they just use mixes etc.. With that being said, i love those infomercials precisely because of this naive way of presenting. So i subscribed to your channel. Thanks for your effort.
I think the point of it is that you *could* use pre-packaged stuff in it or not. The main thing is being able to use something to avoid being caught in the corporate grease rush. Which I'm sure I can say for a lot of people is worse than whatever she made on the whole show.
Love that she grabs the chicken with her bare hands and giant nails, doesnt wipe her hands off, and continues grabbing and touching food and spreading them germs
Is that really her, or are you just making a joke about the actress looking similar? I remember Sally looking differently, but it has been decades... Edit: I just got to 23:37 that showed you were indeed pulling people’s chain. :P
Many thanks for this and all your infomercial uploads! They're gold. I've been searching forever for the Cathy Mitchell infomercial for the Deni Freshlock TurboSeal from 1992. You'd be a master if you tracked that one down. Take care!
Bet you didn’t know this: Joe Farago played a TV newscaster in The Terminator that provides Sarah Connor (and the audience) with some expository information when she sees him on a TV in a bar talking about the murders of several Sarah Connors
I don’t eat meat (not good for you, especially processed meats like hotdogs), but what is really good is “Hotdog on a Stick‘s” cheese dog (just like a corn dog, but they use cheese instead of the hotdog meat). It’s sooo good! I can’t imagine it being good in this contraption though, because a big part of what makes them yummy is the texture from deep frying the batter. Obviously they are rare treat, as anything fried should be.
