Keep in mind the Bugatti testing team did theirs at 200mph then 230mph before the real tests. The 3tri mount is awesome. People use them on highway runs well over 200mph on extensions!
Need a McLaren 765 LT (runs mid 9s bone stock and it even more of a beast from a roll) for the easy win, but its not cheap. It will be interesting to see how fast the C8 z06 and C8 zr1 will be because they will be in the lower end of the price range.
@@BLACK05GO1 You can't really compare a Mclaren 765 LT with a Turbo S.. they are in a different league . Comparing a Supercar with a Hypercar . Turbo S may be a daily driving car while Mclaren is not.. don't tell me you go shopping with the 765 LT .

The 911 turbos have always been very strong cars and ran up in the Super car leagues. Hell even way back when 400hp was something very few could brag about the 911 turbo had it. Now the standard 911's have always been just kinda sporty and in the league of cars like the corvette and whatnot.
The porsche may be the fastest, but its engine sound has always disappointed and the interior is the same as you find in the entry version of the 911 at a cheaper price.
It's shape is a bit dull today compared to any supercars (Lambo, Ferrari, even the R8) kinda in a good way + let's be honest it does sound like a vacuum-cleaner otherwise is just a silent stealthy deadly ninja a supercar-killer considering it has less cylinders on the engine ..

@@James-oo1yq Yeah why is the GTR so expensive? I mean I know it's the Nismo but still. When the GTR came out it was very cheap for the performance. But you can buy used ones for pretty cheap.
Comon', we know that you already knew that the porsche would win. Stop making tha gtr lose, we know that noone can beat the porsche in a quarter mile but the gtr is still very fast.

911s unreal ! When you consider how bulletproof it really is and how docile under normal driving around quietly it is ,there really is no other sports car that does so many things so well. Iconic for sure .lovely.
I have a porsche boxster, I have realized this thing in boxster too. When you are driving casually, the exhaust makes not much noise and it’s like an introvert kid in the class but above 5000 rpm it’s a beast and everyone around knows a porsche is coming.

Nissan need to make an R36. The R35 is very old and its automatic gearbox is trash nowadays. Also they need to make a better engine because "stock" just can´t be that slow that even a V10 naturally aspirated trashes it. And lastly they need to do some serious upgrades because is just so heavy...

Eventhough gtr will lose everytime i see in youtube, i will still choose gtr and i will not be disappointed. For me, its the true king of acceleration with a lower price.

@@ngrandchamp1 Porsche just has the traction of AWD, that's it. McLaren's are superior in everything else. Much better aero, lighter, actually looks like a supercar etc. From a rolling race, Porsche's get exposed and can't beat any Mclaren from a 1 mile race.
Yeah, the GT-R is old, but the performance is still amazing even today. It may not beat other modern sports cars and supercars now, but it still keeps up well and still puts up a good fight. It just has quite a bit of turbo lag (actually i'm probably understating it, ALOT OF TURBO LAG), but when that dual clutch hooks up, it will hook up and pull. I think we can definitely say that the Porsche 911 is the better competitor compared to the GT-R, but that doesn't mean that the GT-R still doesn't deliver, because you can't go wrong with either one of these cars.
GTR Black edition, 0 to 60 2.7 sg. not Nismo, #2 the driver of GTR is really bad driver, for him is better a bicycle. Audi never is a competitor of the GTR, only Porsche. Audi is for mature people only. (Porsche 911 turbo & GTR Black edition, it's.)
I personally don't think it's even the engine. Maybe it's just in need of transmission software updates, some turbo & exhaust tweaks and a remap to do it some justice?! The tuners can do it so why can't Nissan Motorsport? Oh & losing some weight will go a LONG way too...
@@simongoode7812 You are right probably, but have in mind that when these motors can be upgraded or remapped up to 800-1000bhp, then we are not talking about a supercar that can be easily used and corner properly, but for a straight line drag car and nothing more. Transmission is quite an issue as you mentioned, it had severe problems over the years.
It's still fast, 10.8 1/4 mile is a ridiculous time. It's just other cars have been improving heavily since the gtrs launch. That 911 is absolutely crazy now.
Anyone else rather have a big engine N/A than forced induction? This is the end of an era of big engines with mad engineering...pushing the envelope of what is physically possible for sortcuts to increasing BHP using turbocharging. An R8 with Turbos would anihilate everything.....but then these would not be considered even remotely in the same class....Bring back big displacement, N/A high RPM cars!!!!
@oof ledoof They are scheduled to be delivered to buyers this month (hopefully). Model S Plaid are selling for $119K, average M5 is selling for about the same. BTW you know how much it'll cost to get a new M5 to run mid to low 9's in the 1/4 mile? Hint, not cheap.
@@marcss416 I wouldn't be surprised if intercoolers, intake, exhaust, e85 and tuning could get the m5 into the 9s and those mods really aren't that expensive. And an upgraded set of turbos isn't that bad either. It depends on what the bottom end can handle if it gets expensive or not
