Thank you for saying it was harder than the X2019! Tidgney listed this one as ‘Easy’ and the X2019 as ‘Very Hard’. I’m on controller and I beat Tidgney’s controller time by .3 but on this one, I have spent 3 hours on it and still 0.6 off gold. The last sector is brutal, you have to be right on it. I do laps and can’t believe it’s not gold.
@@FURYBrenton Interesting... I'm not on GT7 as much now, so my pace has fallen off a bit. As a result, some combos have become harder for me. There are some combos where I can get close to my pace back then, but it takes a while for me to get there. High downforce cars are not my thing, so I knew I was going to struggle with this one. It took me about 45 minutes to enter Gold territory, and then another 5 hours (across 2 days) to get the 1:20.6. I blame it on sector 3, as most of my mess-ups are there... I think because the x2019 challenge had less turns to deal with, it makes me think that one was slightly easier than this one, and I really really really don't like the x2019.
If I only needed to do that to hit 19's, I'd 100% go back haha. What I do know is that I'm missing 1 to 2 tenths on the second hairpin and that sector 3 kicked my butt.
I think sector 3 is what kept giving me so much trouble, and then began to think that this one is harder than the x2019 challenge. Same here! High downforce cars are not my cup of tea.
@@MistahMCA sector 3 time can be at least more consistent if not faster when driving in VR. Since you can actually see the line, the apex and exits instead of guessing
