Fun fact: gta 2 is now the only game in gta history to have a gang reputation system. Unlike san andreas where cj is only favored by the grove street, claude speed can either be favored by all gangs.or none such as the yakuza etc.

That reminds me, they haven't made a live action GTA movie yet, GTA has been around for 15 years, after GTA V they should make a movie about it.

He's actually a Loony in my opinion, acting crazy, have the Zabaitsu and Yakuza killing each other. One of the best GTAs ever!

Damm I miss this times so so so much. We can see that since that time Rockstar always had a great and concrete vision of what GTA would gonna be all that parody, mixed with realism and criminality..., I think that this is just one os aspects of the huge success of the game today.

GTA 1 takes place in the Late 90s in Liberty City - Main Protagonist isn't really explained so basically a Crazy lunatic who is yarning for money. One things for sure though. GTA 1's Main Character knows how to use a gun and probably knows some what, a lot about the law. So taking all that in. It's probably the moment in the GTA series when Liberty City becomes Corrupted. GTA London takes place in London in 1969 and sees a unknown Crook preforming Missions like heists and so what, Just like the first game but it may be the moment in the GTA Universe (at least for the 2D one) Earth's national governments get corrupted but it's more like to be the case in 1961. GTA London (1961) Possibly the reason for all the Governmental and falseness in the GTA World due to some maniac causing panic In London and 1961 pack basically being the London City Stories - But the Original London still had somewhat something to do with it. GTA Gameboy takes place in Liberty City too but due the character's design being too different it's more likely to be someone else. But it is also the same plot and missions. So I'm just going to assume that it's nothing really and this other 'character' is just someone who showed up before GTA 1's main character and failed to and probably died. GTA 2 takes place in Anywhere USA, some random city in America. In this game you play as Claude Speed but a bit more happens before this GTA 2 Movie takes place in Liberty City (clearly, it's in New York - New York = Liberty City) This most likely takes place a few years before GTA 2 and after GTA 3. Claude gets in trouble with drug companies and sparks a turf war and eventually is shot dead by an Assassin. Coming from someone's theory with a twist, Claude was taken by Playboy X's crew and ended up in a coma for a bit and woke up in a hospital in Anywhere, USA. Back with GTA 2, Claude sparks turf wars with the same enemy gangs from the GTA 2 Movie and eventually comes out on top and spends the rest of his time in Anywhere, USA and controls all the drug markets in 2013+ - Forgot to mention that GTA 2 takes place in 2013.

Purely epic! If this would be a whole movie ill totally go to cinema and watch it!

Actually it is the same Claude. He appeared in GTA2, GTAIII, and San Andreas. Heck, even his design from III resembles the look from this trailer.

Omg this is so retro, this is actually what the oldschool GTA’s would be like in real life. I thought the 3D universe ones made me nostalgic, this is like, retro orgasm for me, and I don’t even know anything much about the first two. Humble beginnings. Gotta love rockstar, what a historical franchise.

I can respect his choice but when it is 2013 and you work for a big corp, something like a calico would have served you better. Maybe it is just me. The short movie is great regardless.
