That ending was surprisingly heart warming and life-like. For 2001.

Summary of 3D chronology (SPOILER): Even though I am almost fluent in English, and correcting some translation errors, I had to use Google Translate to make this text, so it is possible that there are still some errors. *Vice City (1984 & 1986):* In late 1984, Victor Vance finally got rid of the Mendez brothers and Jerry Martinez, but, loses Louise, but keeps living in peace together with his brother Lance, but, not for too long, being that 2 years later, in a negotiation with Tommy Vercetti and organized by Sonny Forelli, ends up dying in the ambush made by Ricardo Díaz, who later ends up dying for Tommy and Lance, who in the end, gets frustrated, betrays Tommy and allies himself with Sonny, who ends up to dying with him. *San Andreas (1992):* Carl finally got his revenge on Tenpenny, and also Big Smoke, who in the past, ended up betraying the Grove Street gang with the drug trafficking business along with Ryder, who had also been killed by CJ, thus, finally far from all the pressure that was being put on him and the gang, with businesses and properties in practically the whole state of San Andreas, living a happy ending with his brother Sweet and his other allies like Cesar, Madd Dogg, among others. *Liberty City (1998 & 2001):* After discovering the true intentions behind Torini's lies about the mafia families in Liberty City, Toni and Salvatore confront and kill him at the town's lighthouse, the Leone family now has control over the mayor, so this finally happening the truce between the Sicilians and the Leones. Three years later, Claude ends up being betrayed by Catalina in a bank robbery, thus being arrested, but managing to escape during his way to the prison, and ends up meeting several contacts around the city such as Joey, Luigi, and Toni, but, Salvatore ends up for not being able to savor that victory for the mafia for too long, as he ends up being killed by Claude, after he tried to murder the protagonist by getting him into a car with an armed bomb, thus, having his right Arm, Toni Cipriani, as the new leader of the great mafia Leone, after managing to escape death, Claude allies himself with the Yakuza mafia, who helps him reach other contacts around the city, and also helps to catch Catalina, near the end of everything, Miguel ends up being captured by Asuka and being torture, revealing some secrets of the Colombians, after that, both end up being killed by Catalina, who also kidnapped Maria and leaves a letter to Claude asking him for the ransom money, which again ends up betraying Claude, tries to escape, but is killed by a helicopter crash caused by the protagonist, so Claude leaves with Maria, ending the story of the game.

In my 23 years I've never seen the ending to this game..

It's funny how this game was bomb back in the day but now 15 years later you have all these 12 year old gta5 fanboys who don't understand the history of gta and yet they show no respect for classics like these. They only care about graphics.

GTA3= amazing graphics for the time, and a storyline that wouldn't end there, this was a precursor to what the games after would become. I love you Claude!

GTA 3 when it first came out was an absolute treat. I never played anything like it. I know there has been many more GTAs that have come out since then, but nothing, absolutely nothing will ever top that first experience playing this game. There was absolutely no experience like it at the time. I couldn't believe what i was playing

Back then, it was all about the quality and not about the "quality". Like if you understand...

Even though the game is dated, It has a special charm to it, I am not trying to be a nostalgia sucker, but I enjoyed this more than GTA 5. The arcade feel to it makes it the most enjoyable to me, and, heck, when I bought it on steam I did not have high expectations. Best GTA for me.

I remember playing this game when I was like 10 or 11, im 23 now, but this game changed gaming forever for me. I loved it and never thought I would. I never even knew what open world gaming was and looking back at this game im realizing this was one of the first. GTA 3 is a classic to me.
