Replays are so broken that when a replay is recorded over a rampage it can be activated remotely. Normally you would not be able to pick up a rampage and a mission at the same time but becomes possible with the help of sub mission vehicles(taxi,paramedic,vigilante,fire truck) Holding the submission key and playing the replay over a rampage starts the submission and the rampage at the same time, thus when you cancel the submission you get a on mission 0 rampage allowing you to start any mission with a rampage running. This allows for certain dupe and fails and instapasses skipping over entire missions.
No, in the above example starting mike lips while vigilante is running allows for the instapass of the mission. Instapass and dupe and fail work only on certain missions. In case of dupe and fails you start the same mission twice and die to pass the mission.(works in taking out the laundry, triads and tribulations and under surveillane). There is more to how it actually works but this is the gist of it.
