I've been trying to make this thing work for like an hour and the skin kept bugged, then I came to RU-vid hopeless that I'd find a solution, and turns out that the problem was that line of code from limit adjuster lol. Thanks man, really appreciate your help.

That is simple enough. You play around with priority in modloader folder. Make sure your CJ character folder has higher priority than other skin mods. The one with higher priority is made more active and the lower priority is ignored. Note that in the lower priority mod, only the files with the same name as in the higher priority mod is ignored. For example, - CJ mod has priority of 100 - Xbox mod has priority of 95 CJ mod has player.dff and player.txd file Xbox mod also has same files. But player.dff and player.txd in CJ mod is used in game, and the same files in Xbox mod are ignored.
@@aguxtec6414 Please follow all the steps in the video. Download all the necessary files and put them at the right place. Don't forget to rename iii_anim.dll to iii_anim.asi I also recommend using GTA3.exe version 1.0
i got an error message said that "iii_anim cannot be loaded by the default mss32 Asi Loader. use another asi loader" how to fix this problem? edit : nvm, u just cut the iii anim to scripts folder, then i cut limit adjuster to main directory.
As a pre-requisite, you have to have Silent ASI Loader installed on GTA 3. Silent ASI Loader is usually bundled together if you already have Widescreen Fix. I highly recommend that you install Widescreen Fix, as this fix also brings the ASI Loader into your game folder.
@@Nassyy hey, you should look into doing tutorials on installing the modpacks reccomended by this guy named Just Gesha. He basically remastered III, VC, and San Andreas, and I'm sort of having issues installing certain mods I'm sure you'd get a lot of views from it too.
Same here but i solved and maybe could help, my problem whas that i had two limit adjuster, one in the main game folder and one in the "scripts" folder. I solved deleting the two limitadjuster files from the main game folder and deleting the string "ExtraObjectDir = 256" from the limitadjuster.ini in the "scripts" folder

No need to change draw distance. Install the latest version of Open Limit Adjuster for GTA 3. Can be found online. And then, if the latest version also gives you problem, remove the ExtraObjectsDir=256 line from (GTA3LIMITS) section.
The scripts folder can be found in Widescreen Fix. I highly recommend using the Widescreen Fix, because it already comes with an ASI Loader d3d8.dll, and also scripts folder.

they keep making this mod more of a pain in the ass to install, after finally getting the hang of this mod they update it to require different files. i tried installing this again recently and no matter what i do it crashes, even deleting the openlimitadjuster or renaming .dll to .asi for the mod itself. why cant the devs just stay in peace and not make this mod harder and harder to install?
I give up try to install this mods, i've followed every tutorial that exist but Claude skin still messed up. Oh well, at least the character in the cutscene have separated hands now.

@@Nassyy the eyes are halway down the face, almost upside down and it only happens in cutscenes. Open Limit Adjuster is installed in the folder and the .ini is modified the same as yours
@@Nassyy I thought that too but the player skin works completely fine outside of cutscenes, I uninstalled all other skins and replaced the default skin with the playa.5 (after renaming it to PLAYER)

@@Nassyy The Original Xbox version was the first to have skeleton system. On downside is that you can't shoot the limbs (+ The first PS2 Version because of 9/11 but there is a gore cheat )
@@dantox1315 Correct. Xbox version was the first to implement them. Technically, Vice City in 2002 was first to implement the skeleton (if counting all GTA games) but let's say that R* made some enhancements on GTA 3 for the Xbox, therefore making it the first GTA 3 version to have this feature.
@@Nassyy I’ve put the files where you said. I even checked my version, it’s the right one. No matter what I do my game doesn’t change. For example, when I put models for Claude that are compatible with the mod, they look all over the place. Do you have any suggestions please?
If you click the links directly, it will either download directly or prompt you to choose the location to save the files on your computer. That's what I get from my end.
I have a question do you have open limit adjuster with project2dfx on your gta 3? I try using those mods I cant load into the game I get stuck at the loading screen when you start/load a save and Im wondering why I cant play Ive added these mod to my gta sa what the differences with gta 3?

@@Jack.Martson I see. Sorry I misread the question. For 2DFX on GTA3, there are files that you copy into your scripts folder. Copy all files from the zip into the scripts folder. GTA 3 doesnt really work well with some mod folders, so I suggest you copy all files in the zip and paste it into scripts
If you have Limit Adjuster, open the .ini file. Go to (GTA3LIMITS) and find ExtraObjectsDir. Remove ExtraObjectsDir. Also, remove player.bmp. It is inside models/generic
