GTA 4 Testing on Intel Iris Xe Graphics with Setting of 1080p, 900p, 720p, 600p with Low Setting, Night Shadow off.
Some Second of the video have no audio due to Copyright song that were played in game.
5 to 7 FPS drop with Screen Recoder.

Iris xe is a simple and affordable graphics chip but the problem here isn’t the chip it’s gta4. Even when run on good graphics cards you’re barely getting 120 fps since the game’s optimization is ass. But I never expected someone to have a vid testing gta4 on a iris xe so good job man

The reason why it's lagging (If you're using laptop): They're recording Probably playing without plugging the laptop(plug you're laptop while playing this will help sith performance) Tip: use a laptop cooler also helps with performance Iris xe is a decent gpu but it's only suited for light gaming I'm pretty sure the iris xe can handle gta 4 smoothly, don't worry just try my suggestions above.

gta v here in low is on average 45 fps and some drops, same config but in 720p as the video, that's just for fun and playing because for hardcore uses, i really don't recommned, and the gta iv is an really heavy game because of his engines. But i don't have this game, so... I Really don't know how it runs on a Samsung Book

I can play for two hours with this rig (i5 1137g 8GM RAM) without pluggin it at 35 FPS most of the time (even 60 if i uncap the framerate)

I think our laptop is not using its actual potential of gpu. I have seen some gaming videos of intel iris xe(8gb ram, i5 processor) which runs even the big games like GTA V at 40-60 fps in 1080p normal😕. . Thanks for the video.❣️

Because of the RAM Bro ......... We have 8GB RAM With 4GB Graphic Memory or Other Side 16RAM have 8GB Graphic Shared Memory...... That the reason they have 40+ FPS.

@@hitsongseries-punjabihindi3935 I have dual channel 8 gb ram I run GTA V at 1080p high to very high at around 30-35 fps with only a few stutters(cause of my ram prob) and also same cpu i51135g7 and gta iv runs at 1080p high with dxvk and fusion fix graphics mod at a round 45-60fps.

change the renderer from directx9 to vulcan, iris xe supports that, i am getting 40+ fps with that same config on 1080p medium, its the optimization issue and nothing wrong with the gpu

Set the graphics to ultra and you will get 60 fps. At 1080p low settings it stutters as hell

my intel HD 620 core i3 7th gen 8 gb ram gets 30 fps in low settings 720p even while recording i have a small clip of it in my latest video of my channel , your laptop can get more fps trust me i think you havent plugged in your charger while playing or having some sort of ram bottleneck

You probably have a virus i run this game most of the time at 35FPS and maximun drops at 21FPS only a few seconds in bridges or in Alderney City (i have other lag problem but it wasn't that way unyil i updated drivers some moths ago) i've been playing and i'm close to complete the base game at a 100% you really have to check your laptop
