Grand Theft Auto V is an action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. Looks good but the reflections on the road from the rain water is too reflective. Unless it's raining olive oil this can be lowered to reflect real-life. This would also help in preformance.

RTX is a name from Nvidia for their graphic cards. You mean RT (Ray Tracing) and this is not Ray Tracing as it hasn't been implemented in GTA V.

GTA developers could simply sell new stories, as a movie, with old city at all. Just create a division that wright new scenarios, creating personages, all that motion capture scenes. Maybe make it a branches storyline kind of "supermassive games" make - anthology, until down, quarry etc. So customer just buy a new movie and enjoying it at old city, living a life of city. Storyes can cross with each other kind of first you play scenario and next scenario you see you're previous hero and he is an enemy now etc :)) kind of lastofus trick

I would start with scenario of "training day" movie :)) rookie cop, old dog Alonso, gangs, drug dealers, and all this is a different storyes. Story of hill treso gang, story of that rich cops that selling order to arest drug dealer that is going on pension etc. And that good feeling of la, music etc. Awesome 😎

The problem with all those rain mods is that they replace the dirt, so all the cars are shinny and never get dirty (5:50).

No they were not working great. I think you actually don't understand the purpose of ray tracing. Making reflections without ray tracing is easy. The problem is that it is not possible to make real reflections. The best a developer can do is to make glass look shiny and then if the player wants to see his own reflection, the developer must make the game duplicate the player into the mirror to try and make it look like reflection. With ray tracing, you can make REAL reflections, and you can make those real reflections extremely detailed. You can even make glass to have reflections and transparency at the same time (not possible without ray tracing). This is why when you activate ray tracing, things looks significantly more life like and beautiful. But GTA 5 is not built for ray tracing so these mods can't make big changes using ray tracing technology. A good way to see the power of ray tracing is in games that are built to use it (like Cyberpunk).

@@angrysocialjusticewarrior Screens space reflections were fine if properly done. Yes rtx offers real time reflections, but the performance cost just doesn't justify the visual change. And unless you're staring at the reflections, the players focus is elsewhere and all the graphics are there just to add to the atmosphere, in which case Ss reflections are fine. Besides, there's already new technologies like lumens and path tracing. Ray tracing is dying soon.

For the people who will say we need GTA 6 to look like this. Its less likely as its not because rockstar can't make the graphics look that good but its because of the ps5 limitations. It might be an option but just so you know I think the default graphics of GTA 6 in ps5 will be lower then this one as this video shows here its at 8k so I don't think ps5 could handle this much power. The ps5 pro on the other hand will handle this considering that games are getting better and better they need to up their upcoming console to 8k so it can also run the game when its out. Edit: I almost forgot to mention the amount of storage this thing will get if the graphics in GTA 6 looked better then the graphics shown in the video its going to be a problem because ps5s normally have 800gb of storage with no upgrades or modifications. You either have to upgrade your ps5 to a higher storage like 2tb which I still think its not enough to add this game with the other games you have on your ps5 or get a ps5 pro which will definably have at least 1 or 2 tb of storage when unboxing it. Idk I'm just glazing the ps5 pro who knows.

fyi, that's not how it works. Pixels can range in size, which is why the size of the display and how far you are viewing the display, matters. You have find out what visional acuity you have first, and then measure your viewing environment, how big of a display you can have/afford and how far away you will need to be form the display to utilize it's extra resolution. That's why they have "viewing rooms" in tech retail. With 8k, you need a 65" or larger display at be 6-8ft away from the display. 4k needs to be at least 42" and 3-6ft away to utilize it's clarity and more. You can find scales to reference to show you the proper sizes and distances you need in order to find the best clarity display that fits your room and setup.
