The conversation at 11:08... the way michael shifts the blame on the city and trevor puts it quite directly "it's poor parenting" like how can you be such a shit father that trevor of all folks has to knock sense into you

I like how Jimmy has a lot more of his moms traits and more sleezy/scum bag-y ways to himself where he’ll lie and deceive everyone he knows to cover his own ass and keep doing bad things, Amanda constantly lies to everyone in her life to keep up her affairs and similar to Michael has a bad past, but she won’t actively do stuff to prevent what she does from falling apart, she doesn’t jump to action to save her ass she starts running her mouth with excuses, and jimmy does the same stuff While Tracey has a bit more of Michael’s severe “protective-ness” over who and what she cares about but also some ruthlessness to get whatever she wants, along with a much more unstable emotional scale which leads to some of Michael’s craziness too She doesn’t seem to lie as much as Jimmy and Amanda and is more so just dumb in a lot of ways, but with how she runs up to jimmy after the boat scene that was the same angry determination Michael had that made him dive off a pier and swim out to break onto a yacht, And what she does with producers and such Tracey is a dealmaker just like Michael, and when she wants something she DOES what she has to do to get it, unlike Amanda and Jimmy who SAY what they have to, to get what they want When she got followed by that guy, she called her dad to help her and beat up/deal with the guy who was creeping her out, whereas Amanda would probably scream about she has mace and how she’ll sue and run off screaming, Jimmy would start talking about how he’s a “real thug” and will “fuck you up”

I remember being a kid playing this game thinking the relationship dynamics between all the characters were extremely exaggerated and unrealistic for comedic purposes. Now that I’ve experienced life, I realized things aren’t so different between this world and ours.
