Gta 5 Challenge - Survive The Hunt #65 - The BMX Fools In The Snow 

Missed the opportunity to say "Hello and welcome to the snow!"

The complaints about the spawn set are so consistent it is almost a part of the opening spiel. And someday, Alex will achieve his dream of escaping via the train. Probably around STH #650 or so.

For future reference: That spot where u were waiting seems to be one of the most common spots that will 'spawn' a train. If you'd just gone ahead and walked along the train tracks on the sidewalk I think u'd have gotten it, along with if u recognized the train approaching sooner (u can hear the horn and the bells)

I got such a laugh out of you slowly turning around to see Bumpy just casually chilling there behind you. Wonder for how long they'd been sat there for. That was hilarious. Curious if Bumpy said anything to the rest of the hunters, or if they were choosing to just chill there and wait for how long it was going to take you to notice. I didn't notice I typed suck instead of such hahahaha

I think Alex's secret weapon in this StH was Dagon. A cat cuddled up against you can reduce the stress level quite a bit.

I always look forward to these Survive the Hunt videos, they help my mood tremendously, which is something I desperately need from time to time. I only wish they were longer videos.

The Lemon was a lime! The Fusillade is probably my second favorite car in GTA5 after the Feltzer, completely different performance, but similar comfort.

Some of the crashing and moving and other sounds you heard are from scoping in with the sniper. When you aim at something with a sniper rifle, the sound from where you are looking is amplified by lots, meaning sometimes you hear crashing or cars loudly despite being far away from them. Is sometimes pretty trippy tbf

When you’re shooting at distance! Lead the shot! I so wanted you to drop Blakey off that bike

You ask it and sort of figure it out in the video, but yes; snipers will make things in the direction you're aiming louder. It happened earlier with the beach part but you ask while in the car park, and it's a real feature of snipers. It has been a thing since forever and it was incredibly useful when doing freeroam pvp since when things such as jets were off the radar a sniper could still sort of help figure out where the jet was by just aiming into the sky and looking around.

I was pulling my hair out at 49:13 when I heard a train horn in the distance and Alex didn't. That would have been the PERFECT escape. He just had to walk alongside the tracks instead of away from them.

My mind magically added the song the Smurfs sing as you left the car park while two hunters were blissfully unaware in their own world, having fun.

Thank you for spoiling me! You know about every 9 months I gotta watch a bunch of STH's. And for me there are all these moments that are like, remember that time when he got away by going up those stairs and around the walkways of the building by the freeway and they all crashed and lost him and he got away...remember the time he drove by the gas station and killed longbow...remember that time they all drove minis and almost dying, he stole one, remember the time he drove off a cliff, flipped over and blew up, the time he blew up the blimp from the boat... and there's tons of them.

Happy New Year's all!! Finally got up early enough so I can watch this before work!!

Blakey and Brazen; Bicycle Bros!

A good game mode would be to ban driving all cars. Call it ESG Mode. Only on foot, bicycles, public transport, and aircraft. That way, we could have ACTUALLY SEEN a train escape in like episode 60-something, rather than the typical escape.

The siren sounds Alex is always hearing is just an ambient LS sound. Probably more stressful when you know one of the chasers is actually in a police car but basically you can hear sirens anywhere in LS at certain times regardless of anybody using sirens, having cops, etc.

So grateful for this series. It's making recovery from a nasty peptic ulcer a little more easy.

Anyone ever do a STH drinking game? Alex complains about rubbish spawn set. Hunter dies not in a chase. AI overtakes Alex waiting at a light. The possibilities are endless.

When stealing a parked car, I suggest shooting the window with a suppressed gun. It smashes in a different way that usually ends up clearing away when you close the door. Also is skips the window break and unlock animation, the car just becomes unlocked

Gotta run to where the train is gonna be, not where it is right now and where it won't be when you get there :p I'm dying to see the train escape happen! Great video!

I think Blakey has the right idea I think all of you including you Alex need to do is survive the hunt On BMX bikes. No automated or automotive vehicles allowed except for trains planes boats Mosquitoes Etcetera But no cars no trucks no ambulances no fire trucks no busses no taxis no super cars no nothing like that just BMX bikes or other bicycles Maybe a scooter or Vespa type thing No motorcycles. Watercraft can be used trains can be used Playing some other flying vehicles can be used but no normal motor vehicles.

Alex will never learn that in the US you can turn right on a red light XD 13:30

Alex, i don't know if you're using headphones, but you definitely should. Heard the train long before it was visible, as well as other important sounds (hunters approaching, gunshots etc)

The only thing that got attention of the hunters at Megamart is you Alex parked in the middle of the carpark with headlights on😂😂

I was hoping for a return of Fake Blakey. This time on a BMX, bunny hopping around blowing up cars.

24:28 This is genuinely the first time that I've noticed where PC WASD has superiority - with keyboard and mouse, that's a LONG shot, but it's not a DIFFICULT shot - you'd only be fighting windage, and not having your aim point going all over the place because you just can't get small enough movements on a controller stick... That would have been an absolutely epic moment for PC-GTA... :( 40:05 You have SO MUCH MORE WILLPOWER than I have. There is no way on this earth I would have been able to resist running them both down (since you're already on the lookout for a new car anyway.) I mean, how often is it that you have the opportunity to silently cut the hunters numbers by 15% in one go? :D

Yes, that scope hearing thing is another quirk of GTA5.

Possible idea for survive the hunt. Have the hunters paint their Pri in the color they race with and if you blow up their pri they are eliminated from the hunt. This may have them hunt you harder or make it easier for you when things start to go awry.

I love how you can pull out in traffic and get t-boned by the lemon (why are they called that? 😅) and not noticed because they want to faff about in the snow lol!

This is the best one since the airplane escape.
